Larry taunted many boys to make them squirm and Brandon was clearly the object of his affection. They were scared to offend the homosexual and deny him his rights but they completely forgot the other students rights and failed to create a safe and hostile-free environment for the other kids. Teachers and Students complained to the Administration but they did nothing. another part of this story that is sad is the boy who killed him had told one of larrys friends the day before the shooting to say goodbye to larry because they would never see him again, this was a clear indication this boy was going to do something to harm larry, he had also tried to recruit other students to assault larry but they all refused. If this information had been brought to the principals attention maybe his death could of been prevented.

I know the world just doesn't accept it yet. As a gay I am always worried about being beaten up. But that killer didn't have the right to just go and shoot Larry for being gay. I just hope one day we get the same rights. New laws need to be created to stop crimes like Larry's from happening again. My thoughts go out to his family. I 100% agree with your comment.
