@charlieking100 there are enough people in this world who don't even believe in evolution.... people stick to their traditions though they don't even know where they come from...I guess aliens are just too much for them
There might be the possibility that its alien in origin. Why don't people believe in a Civilization which is extraterrestrial , which seems quite possible in this vast universe, because there are 10s billions of planets in our galaxy alone!!!! and atleast 10 of them must have intelligence, is that not probable??? but they believe in a "Human being" creating the entire universe, which is utterly ridiculous!!! ... Wow" SETI is a history now, what a waste of technology and money, back in 1998 when it destroyed, it was sad, so many peoples have lost their jobs. SETI could have make a difference if they were still live and active.

I wish videos like this made it clearer that they didn't actually record the signal, they recorded the power, position, and frequency of the signal on a printout. Videos like this often put in some sound effects.
@MoreApathy Actually he sayd it was on a computer printout. So... But never the less they try to talk as less specific scientific talk as they can in these shows. These shows are made for ordinary people after all... They keep it simple that everybody could understand the basics. If they start speaking with hardcore scientific terms nobody couldnt understand this except scientists.

They picked up a real transmission, but people have tried to suggest other explanations, such as an Earth signal that bounced back off a piece of space junk. No one knows of the signal was audio, video, beacon, or data. The only thing recorded was "6EQUJ5" on a paper printout. This was just a record of the signal strength every 12 seconds.
It was a covenant fleet sending the signal to glass the grunts' home world

The government of USA stop funding the SETI. The main secrecy about all is to shut the SETI down and hand over everything to AREA51.
If SETI was shut down back in 1998, why are AREA51 still active. Behind back door the USA government still funding very well to AREA51.
