It's a good game, but in most opinions, including my own, it was a bad paper mario game. It was fun to play, but they should've kept the turn based battle system. The different party members was good and bad for me. I wasn't sure about it. It ended up being good, but there's something about it I didnt like. I also didn't like getting rid of the boots for the weight and the hammer for cudge. I actually liked the partners way more than the pixl's, and you saw their personality more in the others.

I must say, like I have heard, turn based doesn't make Paper Mario, being PAPER does! :D This game was more paper then the others, but I do see your point. I do hope the next Paper Mario returns to it's old, 3D like self.

Yeah, also the world it took place in...kinda lacked creativity. It did have its quirks, but it just wasn't the same. The badges were also something I really missed - they allowed for more strategy.
