  • Dad flew these out of Jervis Bay years ago.

  • Im a Australian Navy SeaHawk Helicopter pilot on Newcastle (FFG 06)

  • @SlittyDrake,

G'day. Google 'a4ghistory-com' for some old RAN Fixed Wing and Helo material in PDF & Video format. Specifically 'Part_6_of_6_A4G-FAA_Scrapbook_15sep10.pdf' 530Mbs has all recent old RAN Helo Material - videos embedded in PDF. Other websites google 'adf-history-com/adf'. First website will always have the most up to date (historic) material in PDFs or Videos.

  • These helicopters were serious work horses in their day!!

Very cool so see them flying.

They used one in a 80's TV show called Riptide. They named the helicopter "Screaming mimi" and painted it pink with a huge face on the front.

  • Ugly paint job...................Fugly fukn livery. America doesn't know how to paint!

  • Umm.it isn't American. Crikey!!

  • @bengello You're right, it's Australia, But it's still Ugly livery.
