  • I really love your videos, Sarah! Anyway, my fiance recently went to a continuing education conference, and the spokesperson dietician said you can only absorb 15g of protein at a time. What are your thoughts on this?

  • my refrigerator needs a makeover from the inside..what healthy foods should i fill my fridge with,..please help sarah i dont even know where to begin..

  • do you have any other tips for snacks or healthy choices from fast food places while on vacation? I am going away for 3 weeks this summer for a course and will be traveling constantly so I dont know what will be available in terms of food.

  • hottie

  • Cool advice but I'll never take it. A vacation should be hedonistic. Exercise harder to make up for it when you get back. :P

  • You can also just run water through the hotel coffee machine without any coffee to get yourself hot water. Pretty much every hotel has a coffee machine in it. Then just use the coffee mugs as a bowl!

  • What do you prefer the flaxseed meal or the chia seeds and why? Thank you for the videos even as a 6'3'' 250Ib man I find many of your tips useful.

  • @bepassionate09 Yeah obviously it's an issue, but really, why not read up the facts before believing everything nutritionists tell you is true. Most of the nutritional information given out by the US government for the past 30 years is a lie. And because they don't want to admit they're wrong we keep following the wrong guides and making the epidemic worse.

  • What is your favorite brand to buy for WheyProtein?

  • I usually work out every other day in the summer, while I'm out of school (Gym lol) is this exceptional? Or should I be working out everyday? I'm 13 btw (:

  • Awesome video! More of these please!

  • I will have to try this recipe I just came back from vacation and it really did help me to have a healthy light breakfast. I love the oatmeal baggie pack idea I will be putting some together and keeping them at work! Thanks!

  • what protein powder do you use, Sarah?

  • hey sarah,

I live in australia and can't seem to find any protein powders with stevia here. Can you give me some brand names please?

    Thanks!

  • @cutecupcake071 Hey I'm in Australia too and the only place I could find stevia products is in Woolworths (safeway).

  • I thikn you got the calorie count wrong. 1/2 cup of oatmeal by itself is 150 calories. I dont think adding a scoop of protein powder, chia seeds and dried fruit would add up to 215.

  • I am so lucky i have all the ingrediants in it. I Have oatmeal flaxsead protien powder.

  • wow, great idea, will definitely try this, thx!

  • isnt flax seed dangerous when cooked?

  • thanks so much for the response!!! I think your videos are great you are honestly a life changer!

  • @jenlev34 Awww thanks!

  • Great travel tip, thanks!!

  • Awe, you are so sweet! I'm gonna make this my everyday breakfast for now on....at home! (: please do more meal ideas like this, especially for breakfast. Like what cereals to stay away from, recipes & ideas, etc. Thank you!! (:

  • I have a question about flax seed.

What is the difference between, whole ground, whole wheat, and raw flax seed?

And which one do you recommend and why?

    Thanks :)

  • Nutritionism is destroying this country... :/

  • @crazychild2041 wtf

its an effort to make everyone healthier

obesity is a huge issue in north america

  • can kids drink this?

  • do you exercise outside when it is in the 90s?

  • @cooltlk13 no, i wake up early if I want to go running or do circuit training in doors at the gym... I did go running the day I filmed this at 7 pm though, it was 80 I think

  • I love your videos =)

  • where do you flim at lol

  • Don't old fashioned oats have to be cooked on the stove top? And should flax seed be refrigerated? Wouldn't it spoil in a suitcase?

  • @poopinshmicken no to the flaxseed, I actually just realized it was suppose to be refrigerated (whoops) while filming this video, and no again to the old fashioned oats, steel cut need the stove top so no and no :)

  • HEy Sarah! Just curious, why do you frequently film in front of your gril? haha Its not a bad thing just wondering. Do you work out on your padio? P.S. Your skin looks absolutely fantastic. Do you reccomend any skin care products that have been working for you?

  • mmm sounds yummy

  • The HARDEST thing to do is Dieting with Ketosis and going on vacation.

  • Hi Sarah,

What protein powders are sweetened with Stevia? Can you recommend any specific brands? Right now I use a Whey Protein isolate, unflavored and unsweetened but I would prefer something with some sort of flavor.

  • @saammula there are plenty! Just look at the ingredient list. Look for stevia, truvia, sweet leaf, or other synonym for stevia. Stay away from sucralose, aspartame...

  • @SarahsFabChannel Thanks Sarah! I know to stay away from those nasty sweeteners but I will definitely look for those ingredients. :)

  • @saammula There's also one called "Krisda" at my supermarket, and it's the one I use.

  • @StickItOutTillTheEnd Great, thanks! I will check it out :)

  • you should do a video on different things you can use as a substitute for sugar

  • @cherrieblossom100 Stevia Agave nectar, and honey are the top 3 natural ones I can think of.

  • I think this is a great idea! I love oatmeal. One thing though, it's very rude to go into a place of business like Starbucks, or whereever that serves food, and bring your own. I think Starbucks actually serves oatmeal. Now, I would totally want to eat your oatmeal over Starbucks or anywhere else, but bringing your own food into an establisment that serves food is a little frowned upon.

  • @erinbcorley If you buy an ice coffee and ask for a cup of water, it's really not a big deal, sometimes they will charge you like 50 cents though.

  • @SarahsFabChannel Good point. I suppose that rule is really just for those that dont make a purchase at all and take up a table that couldve been for a paying customer. I think anyone thats worked in a resturaunt , or like myself, a coffeehouse knows how annoying that can be. All that being said, I'm going to try your recipe, so thanks for the video! :)

  • @erinbcorley OMG! I agree, I waitressed all of college, and when ppl got the coffee and like a $2 meal and took the table for hours was so annoying bc you knew your tip would be 50 cents, I just mean to do this in you room, not so much in restaurants.

  • This doesn't really help vacations at resorts or places of travel that don't allow you to bring food.

  • @doubtfuldreamer what places don't allow you to bring food? I was able to bring mine on a plane to Las Vegas and to the Hard Rock Hotel... I've never been somewhere that doesn't allow you to bring your own

  • @SarahsFabChannel Like I'm going to Cuba this weekend. So the Caribbean. You can't take food with you. You also can't take food with you if you are travelling to Europe.

  • @doubtfuldreamer not necessarily true...I traveled in 2007 to Europe , I traveled with so much food from instant coffee (did not know where my next cup of cofee was coming from) to protein Bars to protein powder. They were all in Freezer bags to take up less room than cannisters and if there really was a problem doing this...they definately would have stopped me and confiscated the suspicious looking white vanilla protein powder!

  • Awesome good advice, Sarah. I got to try that out.

  • :-) Hiii

  • I love the advice but since I have a limited amount of luggage to bring w/ me on my flight and I need some clothes w/ me too :D ... I think I'll try to buy healthy stuff at the supermarkets, for example: some fruit and a small whole wheat bun. what do you think?

I do eat otas and protein powder at home.I just leave the oats in some water before going to bed & add protein powder in the morning - AWESOME for us who love to sleep as much as possible and don't have to worry about preparing breakfast

  • hehe everything works for me except the flaxseed. i have a bad stomach reaction to it. flaxseed sensitivity - nething that can substitute for that?

  • @dummeow try wheat germ?

  • @dummeow chia seeds or sunflower seeds or almonds

  • i love ur videos!! they help loadss! im going on holidaysoon and i want to be thinnerr!!
