Archage is an open sandbox MMO meaning majority of things in game will be controlled by players entire villages might be built and protected by players only giving them big freedom to play an create variety in game. The realistic physics and destructiveness gives the player other things to do rather than grind and stare at a tightly controlled stat system that forces you to stay online for hours to put on a frigging hat or pick a flower!

WoW is a reference point because it serves millions of people and is a superb example of what every develop should be trying to do. It's not a mistake that many come out not having learned anything in the past 10 years and they fall on their face. Only the ones that come out and actually know how to make a game and have learned from the past are going to stand the test of time. WoW will get old just like an ygame, but blizzard made a true diamond with WoW.
ArcheAge is going to file so big. Realism is passe. It's been overcooked and the only one's in town doing it are asian and they're dying. So I'm sure the last remaining fools will fill up this game and a few of the other dying breeds but I'll welcome you all into the modern age of gaming if and when you're ready to join us.

@Urabus08 Its silly to use WoW as a refernce point. Fantasy MMOs have been out long before it and hey will be out long after it. Its something people will never get tired of for some reason. Personally I never cared for it because, like you mention, its old. But theres a market for it, so they keep doing it.
im complaining about how poor the graphics look compared to the early videos they posted, and also the combat system is awfull, therefore i lol at you and everyone else who pays for this
the thing that would make this brilliant is manual skill attacking, like in Dungeons and Dragons, where instead of auto-attack, you manually do it and you need proper skill.
@5swords3 you want a game like DnD look at vindictus its allmost out! it comes out sometime in october its better then Dungeons and Dragons I played a little of the closed beta and holy crap it was awesome!
