hummm thers money and professionalism benhind this vid....superb quality....how long until we see something like this or the anon vid 'what we are capable of' on TV ??
either that or we start getting into the TV broadcast towers ;)
Very well done video. All of the images, music, and sound evoke a unifying emotion that makes me wanna participate in something like this. My only question is how come there isn't any notification of why the protests are occurring? What exactly started the protests to begin with? Is their a reason why these were left out?
@SeanQuillen You've brought up a good point that the video doesn't go deep into why the protest began. The key with this movement is that there is no one reason it exists. Instead it represents an awakening and realizing that we can all do better then the world we've designed. So it's the collective struggles that exist for no reason except that those in control wish to stay in control. When you study the nature of economics today this all becomes clear.
@arincrumley Ok. I was trying make sense of this earlier because there is usually a very clear reason that unifies people into protest (although one can state that the way how a country is run can be a reason to rally protests). Although it does sound a little vague (which might be done on purpose I don't know), I understand a little bit better. I do have another queston: What do you think are the issues with this country and in your opinion what are some ways we can do to fix them?
@SeanQuillen Decentralizing power is generally a good way to avoid the level of corruption that currently exists but control by it's nature doesn't like to let go of it's grip. So there are no quick fixes. Room for change is within designing parallel systems that are better. New self governing, value exchange, housing, food supply, energy, transportation education and media. The more effective solutions can be embraced while the old systems fade.
The violence against protestors, while being abhor-able, is only going to strengthen the movement. The occupy Santa Rosa camp has only continue to get bigger every day. Yes there are quite a few homeless people using this as an excuse to camp in front of city hall, but a majority of those camped out are actually there for change. Arin you have a talent for video editing, and video documentation. I think its admirable that you're calling attention to this
@zeemong When you only see adult protestors it's easy to pass judgments of those people for the way they look, dress or talk but when you see children who are entering a world with all of these challenges then we are reminded why all of this is worth it.
Whats up with all the pics of children? :| Those shots should've just been of the variety of protestors and other shots not trying to play some cheap game pulling heartstrings via pics of kids.

I love Max Kieser, Ive made a lot of money listening to him. In this world there are really people that have been predicting all our problems.

In matters of truth or justice, there is no difference between large & small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of people are all the same.
