This song actually made me cry. I love the song, and it's fun to sing and play, but the story depicted in the lyrics is sad. I can't imagine a world without my beautiful home of NY. But it's also an empowering song because us New Yorkers will never be brought down. In 2017 we'll have a big celebration concert with Billy Joel I bet.
