Downloaded this on Xbox today and was blown away! Such a simple concept executed to perfection, the music and visuals really draw you into a pumping Tron inspired realm, this clip or any clip on youtube for that matter don't do it justice!

It's the same as it was for the Dreamcast when it first came out. Awesome still, and the game gets a lot harder.. level 1 and 2 are easy.

I'm also working on some strap components onto a dreamcast controller for vibration function, and a possible chair plan.

This is literally the last minute and a half of the demo...

interesting concept, but the demo felt too slow for me, i didn't really feel like i made an impact to the beat.. apart from the little clap clap sound that you can make with the 'a' button.. Which i can honestly tell you, doesn't go that far.. xD

but i have no doubt, it will be more difficult, and will have a much faster pace in the full version.

The shoot sound is slightly different and mis-tuned, and there is not nearly as much color spreading when exploding stuffs in this version compared to the original, damn :(

I own this game on dreamcast ps2 and now also 360 the 360 version is great BUT does anyone else ever have a , stop and go when you get to another layer? like, the music stops and goes on again, i dont know how to say it

i dont have any slowdowns, but forced slowdowns when i stay in an level longer to shoot the "hidden" and then it has to sync back to the real timeline of the track, but never really stops

try to max to your points with the end boss, got about 220k on an assault just in area1 (and saw ppl with 300k)

Honestly, I'd doubt it. With its method of locking on for combat by just going over enemies, the Wii's remote would essentially break the game. Not that I wouldn't like more awesome stuff on the Wii.

Its trippiness, flashiness and pulsating music are what make this game good. I play it on my PC with a Dreamcast emulator, a pair of VR goggles and a pair of good headphones, and I can assure you it's quite a trip. ;-)

By now, Rez HD is officially released on XBLA. Originally published in 2001 by SEGA on the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2, but Q Entertainment is the publisher for this version (although SEGA is still copyrighted).

Probably because it was Mizuguchi's brain child when he was still working at SEGA. As far as I know he took most of his dev team with him to form Q... so the people who updated it for XBLA are probably mostly the same folks who wrote the original for the Dreamcast...
