Look at this plane for the moment and open in google pictures of planes i listed above. Front part of fuselage and cockpit is like F-22, Air intakes are like F-35 escepcially if you see plane from above you will see that, canards and middle part of the fuselage also the delta wing shape is like MiG-1.44, exhaust nozzles and lower part of fuselage are like Su-47 and electronics are probably based on J-10 experience,

Actually, electronics are a new generation of Chinese avionics.

It uses Type 1475 AESA radar and very advanced fly-by-wire system.

But I agree on all other points. It's certainly a hybrid of many fighters.

Question is what kind of stealth is this. Is it plasma stealth or coating stealth or structural fiber mat? The coating stealth is the worst as it's needs high level of maintenance. Like the F-22 that needs 30 hours of maintenance for 1 hour of flying driven up the costs to $50000 per flying hour and a very low turn over rate.

It will take this plane a long time to match T-50 - engines are far from up to spec, Genuine gen-5 AESA radar will take ages to develop (all AESA radars china has are either reverse engineered or licence built Russian or Israeli and none are for fighter. They are either ground based (huge) or AWACS models and operate in much lower bands. Fighter radars are WAY harder to make then those.

This thing is a strike fighter. It needs more fuel since its engines are not up to gen-5 standards.

Nope, neither the prototype nor the production uses Russian 117S engines.

The prototype uses WS-10G engines (which is more powerful than 117S engines) and production will use WS-15 engines (which is more powerful than PAK FA's engines)

Although it is larger it cannot be launched off of future aircraft carriers. It is actually probably a bomber there is no way it can out-maneuver an F-22 without thrust vectoring nozzles. It is not as stealthy as the F-22 as can be seen by the many right angles in design. In the end what it is better in is ability to travel farther (which doesn't really make a difference when America is across and ocean and China does not have any real tankers to speak of), and a larger armament

My estimate is that it is optimized as an interceptor and strike aircraft, but with considerable air superiority ability. I think of it as an updated MiG-31, but can play as an F-15 in air superiority and possibly even F-111 in the medium bomber strike role - all with huge range. I can easily imagine the Chinese thinking such a plane being a key need for them.

I wouldn't say copy. Things like "framed noses" aren't a "US design". They're a concept. And using concepts is not called copying. The F-22 is a proven piece of technology. After all, it's is better to be safe than sorry. The Chinese are incorporating the strong points of F-22, F-35, and T-50. And they applied their own technology to make it better. That's why they added DSI, canards, etc.

It's all a learning and apply process.
