My Xperia X10 with official Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread

was there a reason why SE put a limit on FPS?

i dont see the reason behind it, other than making the UI and games laggier and potentially save 5 more mins of battery life.

Holy Shit. I just flashed 2.3.3 Gingerbread to my SE Xperia X10 (SUXperia) and it actually doesn't suck that badly anymore. This thing so is fast and the keyboard response is fucking awesome. I was stuck with 1.6 for the first 6 months, then for the last 8 months I've been surviving with a rooted and jailbroken 2.1 Eclair.

ATTENTION LEGACY OS USERS: Please upgrade to a more efficient OS like Gingerbread. It will make your phone suck so much less. PM me for any questions you have.

@hardman404 Actually, you can change back from 2.3.3 to 2.1. It is quite easy. Go to XDA forums or PM me.

@hsuson Unfortunately you will never get 16 million colors and multitouch. With 2.3.3 we got music widget, flash player and some other goodies. But the official ROM is bad he takes alot of RAM memory, phone lag at moments. Log in XDA Developers there custom roms, which are very light and all their works.

Ppl, this is official update to 2.3.3 from SE, i'm living in Bulgaria. But the official Rom from se uses to much RAM, so i put custom rom 2.3.3 Wolf eom, go to xda developers, and check it, the Wolf's Rom is very light, fast and smooth and everything working OK.
