  • @muddywaters1980 Are you referring to "Blues & Pants" by JB on the "Hot Pants" album?

  • @ensconse

I sent him that one - he said it ain't the one.

  • Just tooooo baaaad! Thanks for this.

  • Valeu Brother! esse hit do james brown é D+ EU PROCURAVA POR ESSA MUSICA A MUITOS ANOS. GRATO: GILMAR - BRASIL -MG

  • By the way, you're slipping: 'A Jame Brown track'? Ha!

  • @PaulDA2000

He wrote it, he produced it, AND he is "singing" on it. That qualifies it to be legitimately described as a "James Brown track". I couldn't care less what they put on the label. Take "Escapism" for example. It appears on the "Hot Pants" album as a "James Brown" track, yet it also appears on the JB's album "Food For Thought". So is it a James Brown track, or a JB's track?

  • @IkeDyson71 -LOL! You didn't get my post AT ALL! i was ref\erring to the fact that you misspelled 'James' as 'Jame'.

  • @PaulDA2000

Now, why didn't you just tell me I left off the darn "s"?

  • The first time i heard of this was a few months ago when I bought one of those Hip-o-select James Brown singles compilations. I prefer the instrumental actually although the vocals are very good. It's funny, the studio version to me is just ok, because I don't like the unorthodox drumming. i much prefer the live versions where the drumming is a more standard funk format.

  • Also many of the live versions of this song have another bridge part that was on the AABB (JBs) song 'Pick Up The Pieces One By One' which is actually this recording with added instruments.

  • thanx for putting the song up:)

  • @ceydaandelrocks

No problem! Thanks for sending me this! This is great...
