I drive a Leon Cupra r with a IHI turbo conversion, about 350bhp+ and i know for sure i can keep up and maybe even beat the 5.5 v8 merc. But with a standard 1.8 20v k04 turbo i would never try it, even if the driver was a 70 year old. The merc guy was playing with you my friend.
