  • I love Jim Tressel for what he has done for my football program, what he has done for my university, and for what he has done for buckeye nation! What happened was a terrible thing, but Jim Tressel is a good man with strong integrity. It still saddens me that he is no longer our coach! Buckeye nation is not the same without him! I miss you Jim Tressel!

  • No coach can guarantee a player will not take money from a booster or do stupid things, but a good coach can instill pride in their players and show that no player is above the rules or the University! That is what is called institutional control! USC did not have it with Carroll and Ohio State did not have it with Tressel!

  • to all osu fans,i can't pretend to think what the players did was all that bad.for the most part i don't think the university is dirty or should get in trouble.as for the coach, how you defend that sack of shit i will never understand.if your not offended by this press conference there is something very wrong with you.if you can't see the man for the second rate politician he is your blind.this press conference was about him and his lies, not him having a player murdered or a visit to a hospital.

  • With what went down in USC with their football program Ohio State won't escape punishment from the NCAA. Jim Tressel needs to be fired now. This program will go on probation if this keeps up.

  • I love how Haters come here to post their IDIOTIC responses!! If YOU don't care why respond! If Ohio is as insignificant and lame as you say, why say anything! I know why! Because people like "YOU", HATE the best!! That is it!! I would Hate OSU if my football program didn't have the stats either! So go on cry and whine all that you HOMOS want! It isn't going to change my love for the Buckeyes!!

  • Just another criminal in Columbus. 86% of Ohioans think the "punishment" fits the crime. He'll be suspended when OSU plays The School for the Deaf, Fat Jolly Jesuit University and University of Akron/prison campus. The game against the prison inmates should also help him in handing out 200,000 dollar taxpayer-funded scholarships for his future incoming classes. 86% of Ohioans probably teach their own children to lie, too. The are that blinded by a bunch of non-students playing with balls.

  • @thechangeling613 And, may I ask, where you are from? I bet you are from-OH lets say California, or Florida? That would say a lot about you if you are!

  • Hah. The athletic director said the money from sales was only to help the players' families with the hard economic times. Are you KIDDING ME!?! The drug trafficking has NOTHING to do with Tressel covering up memorabilia sales. This man is a liar and a cheat. They should forefeit 2010 and he should be out at least 6 games.

  • @ebhock101 I would say cancel their football program indefinitely. I mean these guys broke a rule maybe even hang them in the center of Columbus for all to see. Are kidding me, these players were not paid to play, they did not cheat on the field, they sold their own stuff, yes it was wrong but don't you think crucifying them is a little excessive. If this was an SEC team we would turn a blind eye or act like we are investigating and then still give someone the Heisman after they received $

  • what a lying cock-gobbler

  • FIRE THIS PALE FACED RED NECKED CRACKER!!!!!!!

  • @cooljae09 You must be a Michigan fan.

  • He should have spoken to his lawyer, confidentially....
