  • Sure it's not a 1.8?

  • Eh! Ive got a mk1 mgzr 105, which is a 1.4 16v and i can hit 120 easy it would go a bit more if i kept my foot in it. Its standard apart from a k&n. It does nearly a tonne in 3rd.

  • ha ha the fule guage is faster that the speedomiter

  • i really want a zr 1.4 but i hear they arent well built and things tend to go wrong with them

  • @TheRascal5678 i had my zr nothing gone wrong with it and i build on it, get one, good fun

  • @TheRascal5678 I haven't found a car yet that doesn't have problems, my zr has been the best one yet and the parts are affordable if needed. i would recommend one to anybody looking for a sporty 1.4 hatch, they're fun to drive. ;)

  • @YouNewb100 see i wanna believe you but knowing my luck the head gasket will go on me and it costs a shit load to repair

  • @TheRascal5678 yeah, mine will probably blow now after saying that. lol. find one from a good dealer and get a warranty, should cover head gasket and most other big jobs.

  • @TheRascal5678 its actually really cheap if you decided to get your hands dirty and purchase a heins manual!

  • you need to fill up mate

  • Ha nice power shifts from 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th ;)

  • to be honest my girlfriend got a sxi and when i drove that it did seem quicker mine only goes about 4500rpm in 3rd thats it lol

  • @webby7267 Yep those SXI's are quick for a small car and probably take off faster than a ZR but they do get a bit wobbly and shaky at high speed, the zr seems to handle it a bit better with its rigid suspension, plus those sports seats make it a snug ride.

  • u sure thats a 1.4 because ive got a 1.4 standard and it struggles to do 90mph lol

  • @webby7267 yours has probably been ragged the shit out of before you got it then because my 1.2 16v corsa sxi did 100mph and im sure it would have done more but i got scared cus it was windy as fuck! loll

  • Not far off top speed run, I think you were almost at top revs in 4th doing 110 according to speedo, so more like 95. I think 110 is a top speed for this 1.4

  • Gonna point out I own a ZR and it has 150mph on the clock and does 62 In 2nd ect..

  • Eh you noob, your fuel is empty ;)

  • 1.8 160vvc the beast

  • Something fishy about this I think, wonder if its sped up?

  • not bad, at the end of the day you can't really get away with doing more than 90 in the uk (obviously only 70 legally), a good fun car at the top end of the 'sensible' speeds

  • 0-60 10 seconds top speed 111mph for the 1.4 16v....iv got 1 in blue :)

  • @AZ274 iv'e got one and got to 119mph and thats standerd

  • @cakey098 7 seconds 0-60 is possible with distributer (single ended coil) ignition. The R65 gearbox needs the oil removing (overfilled) and a lighter grade putting in. For 1/4 miles you drain the gearbox and run the engine oil at minimum. It takes a further 4 seconds to get to 100 if everything is on cue, the 3rd gear acceleration is the usual marker of a well set up car.

  • whats the top speed

  • @MarkieBhoy17 How high are you dropping it from?

  • @TheBeebopper i havent

  • @TheBeebopper Well hire yourself a Lancaster bomber, and drop the Rover from about three miles high, expected speed around 180mph. The Rover's top speed is limited by the rev cut-out, 5th gear isn't useful on a 1.4 (even with 16v) so although is is justcapable of 120mph+ with a strong tailwind, practically it's a 100mph car (just about need to use 4th gear and will still pull), and with a headwind you probably wont make 120 unless there has been a bit of sorcery going on. 600/75/ZS for speed

  • i have a yellow zr slammed white wheels, tint. straight through pipe sports back box 04 plate. they are quick 4 a 1.4 if u give it some beans. i dont take mine over 5000 revs incase of damage, i havnt heard a zr headgasket go yet? or did they change the gasket from the 90s engine? next month ive got the 2.0 tomcat turbo engine going in. carnt wait. please comment.

  • @JTG2388 ive got the 1.4 with through pipe, and a new ECU and also chipped, and it slams 2.0 without any problems. very fast cars for 1.4 engines. my next car will be the zr 160.

  • Comment removed

  • about to get one of these as my first car, unfortunatley because of insurance i have to have a 1.4 so i wont be racing my moms cooper S anytime soon

  • i dnt think it was his "bad shifting" rovers dnt have the best clutches in the world it doesnt take a genius to change gear

  • WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!! ROVERS ARE SHITTY OLD MANS CARS, PROPER GRANDAD PIECES OF SHIT!! I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY CHAV CUNTS THINK THEY ARE ANY GOOD?? SERIOUSLY? A ROVER?

  • @coltsuperocean10 dude the MG ZR is a descent car.. I believe you're the kind of guy that would want to drive a BMW 320d or something.. well good luck with bmw.. everyone knows that it's an extension for your ego.. plus turbo fails and blown engine will await you

  • @camelbros16 What the fuck makes you think that? You really are a stupid sad pathetic fuckin rover driver!! BMW? You knobhead? Not everyone is as poor as rover driver!! Some of us can afford to own several quality cars!! Not like sad jealous rover old men drivers!

  • @coltsuperocean10 what do you drive then? proton? produa?

  • @coltsuperocean10

    Stereotypical maybe?

Also before you disrespect most rover/mg owners sort gramma out because its fucking awful.

    SERIOSLY........your a cunt!

  • @kieranross14 I think that should be, "seriously you`re a cunt!" If you want to challenge me on my spelling (like some 12 year old fucking knobhead) at least be able to spell you fucking retarded cunt! I think you just made a complete fucking dickhead of yourself. This is why I give shit to Rover drivers.. they are as thick as fucking pig shit!! Hahahaha ..and you proved it!! hahaha How do you feel now you stupid retarded cocksucker? Heh? Not so clever now are you? Now run along little boy!!

  • so your head gaskets going to go pretty soon shiffting at those revs!!! Try learning to shift properly at correct revs and then your videos may be a little more impressive! all this vid has done is give us ZR owners a bad look in!

  • @poshcar89 yeah indeed.. it's nice to let it go all the way somethimes but if u always do that, then you're not an MG'er

  • dats sum gud gear changing man

  • very nice!

  • he changed gear without using clutch??!!! even fast as F1 gearbox...!!

  • The book time for the VVC is 7.2 with no mods, so your car should be doing better than 7.3. Before I mod my 1.4 I did get 9.2 so this video is feasible.

  • here are the facts for this car to stop you people arguing.

    i own a 1.4 16v ZR myself

Clocks go to 150mph in all ZR's

0-60 time in video is approx 8.5-9 seconds.

i can achieve these times in my 1.4

the gearbox is not the same as the 1.8, the 1.8 uses the PG1 gearbox and the 1.4 uses the R65 gearbox, in gear speeds are 1st - 34mph, 2nd- 62mph, 3rd - 90mph, 4th - 115mph, 5th 154 mph (if it had the power to fully utilise the gear)

i have achieced an indicated 125mph

  • @GrantD27 your correct with the gearboxes mate, but ive got a fully mapped and race spec'd 1.4 zed and that only just strikes 138mph so id like to see a stock one do 125 on a flat!

  • @poshcar89 note i said "indicated 125mph" it is most likely less if you use gps as speedos usually over read. but none the less i have had an indicated 125mph.

  • @poshcar89 also out of curiosity what spec is your 1.4 engine ? eg mods ? power ?

  • 7 seconds is a bit fast for a standard 1.4, but I own an MG ZR 1.4 with mods. It has a 52mm throttle body, xpower exhaust, k&n induction, boost valve, 35mm tyres, xpower springs, upgraded cams and a super-chip. Tests run on the car give a reading of 7.7, 0-60 and top speed 132mph. K series 1.4's are fast in compared to other 1.4 engines(non-turbo). The 1.4 is lighter than the 1.8's so the power to weight is greater for mods. The K series1.4 takes the old K series Lotus Elise upgrades.

  • Is it not a 160bhp VVC?

  • Comment removed

  • it is a 1.4 mate ive got a 1.4 16v twin cam rover 200 it does the same speed in each gear as that and finally my speedo stops at 135 and im pretty sure the zr clocks go to 150!

  • @cakey098 this car is a 1.4

i have a 1.4 zr and the 0-60 is about 9.5 seconds as it is in the video and the gearbox is the same as the 1.8 so will reach the same speeds in each gear thus being able to do 65 in second 92 in third and about 115 in 4th

5 dont really pull that much as it is the gearbox from the 1.8

  • well my mate just bought a 1.4 yesterday and it goes up to 150mph on the speedo....and im buying the 1.8 version end of march, anyone know if its a good car??

  • @cakey098

In my mg zr 105 the speedo goes up to 150 not sure if its the standard though but i would agree with you that it doesn't go from 0/60 in 7.5 seconds

  • Obviously this Donut doesn't know what he talking about, i have a ZR and iv done the 0-60 test and its just over 7sec and finally it does have 150 mph on the clock, " I should know iv got a ZR"

    Ass

  • they are loud on motorways bein a sporty engine!..and mg all the way!if u dont like them why veiw the video?..never drove one??well then shut ittttt

  • if i put a performance exhaust on my zr will it piss me off on long motorway journeys?

  • And then the head gasket goes ...

  • Not bad at all for a 1,4! :-)

I've got the ZR 1,8 160 and it manages 0-60 in 7 seconds flat.

Got a free flow rear muffler and an open air intake.

Made wonders to the power! :-)

Scares many turbos with it! ;-)

  • @opelmadness

Thats pretty shit considering a Saxo vts 1.6 16V does 0-60 in 7 secs.

  • @YZ125PIMPED

The Saxo is pretty light compared to the ZR...

  • in the rain wid me an ma mate we get 9.7 2 60 but thats wid frist gear wheel spinnin like crazy. really nice car 2 drie and very fast 4 a 1.4

  • mg's are just rovers in combat gear

  • So what? It still is cool combat gear. ;-)

  • rovers couldnt look good in gucci

  • actually the look of the rover 25 is what made me buy it in the first place, i had a 1.4 and wanted to get the 25 1.8GTI or the ZR 1.8VVC, however due to the problem that MG-Rover were not in production anymore it made my insurance sky high if i wanted the 1.8, it worked out about £200 cheaper to get my current 2.2 Astra SRi, insurance is crazy and the companies are just w*nkers!

  • u made the right choice man mg's are common as muck i got a 206 gti 180 my insurance is 800 and im 30 with 5 years no claims

  • Rover 25s and MG ZR's are great to drive, and stick to the road really well regardless of engine size, the only problem with these are the head gaskets, however LOOK after them and they will be great back. My colleague has a 1.8 45 and he says it sticks to the road brilliantly, i had a rover 25 but got rid of it after i brought my Astra 2.2, however i never had any regrets buying the Rover.

  • Rover 25 Stick to the road really well? It has loads of body roll and are you compairing it to a 3 wheeler? Its a grandads car mate.

  • actually it does stick to the road really well, where i work i go through plenty of B and country roads, and i loved driving it to work. The rover 25 is not a grandads car at all, just because oaps use them doesn't mean that, i saw a 70 something driving a Ford RS, ( with a Disabled badge, i couldn't believe that, he cant be that disabled to have a RS ) but are you saying a RS is now a grandads car too?

  • @767nutter

I own a rover 25. It's sporty as fuck to drive. Will be getting a 1.8 MG ZR next though. Love the cars :)

  • or pushed it off a cliff!

  • I noticed that the back wiper likes to come on by itself on when you crunch it into reverse during rain? My mates one was shit, It smelt quite new inside for an old S-reg car though. I remember my Bro-inlaw borrowed a 416 off his mate from the ships & they locked right up in Basingstoke on him when he tapped the brake pedal! He had to reverse back over the line again.

  • If your front wipers are on when you stick it in to reverse then the back wipers will come on, does it with most new cars.

  • In honesty I can't say Rover/MG BL are any good really because I did borrow a Bubble 214 off my mate about a year ago when I was having my tyres replaced & it was ok to sit in to listen to music, but really shit to drive, stiff pedals & crunchy gears with rather wobbly handling & shoddy brakes, ok for town driving 30-40 but motorways over 70 were hair-raising. I got to 100 in it & copped out because the car got all swingy & unstable. Its an old boys car & I can see why, Never again lol

  • Saxos are made out of coke cans thats why they have a bean can as an exhaust ha ha. Probably doesn't do anything but make the fuel consumption worse lol. A Saxo will bend up worse than a Rover during the inevitable so at least you know you stand a better surviving chance. Im not excusing Rovers because I don't like them but If I had to make a choice it wouldn't be a Saxo... They are worse!!!

  • Having a Fast Rover 200 bubble VVC must annoy people to fuck! I hate knobs in VTR's, VTR's are slower than stock TDi's anyway as they are 8V. I expect it will still give a VTS 16V a Run for its money too. I would like to have a fast car that society hates but I had my fair share of cheap cars now like Fiats & Rovers etc I am a bit older & prefer something a bit more substantial but I still wouldn't mind pissing off a few impatient big-headed sales reps though! ha ha

  • I payed £380 for the software upgrade. Its put a big smile on my face & it still easily returns 45+ on the motorway. Ive already blasted an arrogant tosser in a V6 Vectra 2.5 up a sliproad & he was cussing every blasphemy in the bible when he was being smoked by a fast diesel ha ha

  • Doesn't matter now you can say what you want about your VVC being on par with TDi's because Ive re-mapped mine to 200Bhp anyway so I don't think your Rover VVC is ever gonna get past it now as it hits 60 in 7.0 seconds! :-P Im well chuffed now & I'll be making VVC drivers look really stupid when they try & overtake because I'll be givin them a run for their money!!! aha ha ha

  • Its actually 'grandeur' not granger.

The car looks very quick to 70 for a 1.4

  • When you told me you didn't know what dillusions of granger was & said your 200Vi shaggs 2.0T Subaru Imprezas & now you are saying your 200Vi VVC has as much torque power as a Turbo Diesel, I just thought aww bless his little cotton socks *grabs cheeks & shakes them & a baby way lol* . I would love to see you try to undertake a Golf GT TDi or a Vectra CDTi 150 thinking your VVC could match or even beat their torque power. Its not gonna be very easy for you to do that put it that way.

  • I understand what you are saying I came from a 1.6 16v petrol car & I know that dropping gears is a similar comphensation for Diesel torque power. Hondas V-Tech kick from 5,500-7,500RPM pull like fucking Eurofighters on take-off & Ive seen them do it. But even when I dropped the gears near the redline to overtake slower cars in a 1.6 103Bhp I could never pull pass them as quickly as a TD with 100Bhp. I could try that until the cows come home but I could never match it.

  • If you drive mine or a Golf TDi 150 up the motorway you will notice how much quicker it is pulling into fast gaps at speed compared to a 1.8 VVC Rover. Get the Golf TDi 150 when you can. Even though the 0-60 is a second slower You won't ever regret it! If you want it 0-60 in less than 7.5s get a 200-220 remap. Im re-mapping my Leon on Monday for £400 150 320Nm - 220 Bhp with over 400Nms torque!

  • Realistically, its much better having a TDi. You can leap right onto jam-packed motorways without having to struggle to find any gaps & you can undertake cars easily (if needed) to jump into fast moving spaces between the cars without carving them up. You try doing that in a 16-valve non-turbo, petrol car. By the time you get over 4,000 RPMs to fully release all the 16-valves, you would have lost your opportunity!

  • Its probably the normal 2.0 GLX subaru Impreza that you are racing, You won't stand a chance against a 2.0 Turbo Scooby. I checked parkers & it is 0-60 6.1s (2.0T) & 7.5s for a Rover 200/25 1.8 VVC. It wouldn't shag 2.0 Turbo scoobies my friend. I think you are suffering from something similar to dillusions of granger.

  • It might be 1 measly little second faster than mine (both stock) from 0-60 but you try racing mine after 60. I don't think you will be saying a 1.8 VVC beats a TDi 150 especially if I gun it from 60-130! The Scoobies you claim to beat aren't turbo models they are chavved up entry level models! I can re-map my engine to bridge that 1 second speed gap & make it 8.5s-6.5s after a 220 Bhp remap! You can't remap a Rover VVC like a TDi as the weak Head Gasket wouldn't cope with the fierce combustion

  • What? a 1.4 16V K-series engine that shaggs Subaru Imprezas? Don't make me laugh! My Leon TDi 150 will kill any of the 1.6 16V polos, 1.6 Fiesta Zetec-S, Rover 216 at a set of green lights & up a motorway sliproad, FACT! Just because you overtook a few scoobies who can't be bothered to waste fuel proving an easy point, you claim it "Shags scoobies" on motorways! In truth, your Rover wouldn't stand a chance against my TDi 150, let alone a WRX/STi scooby.

  • did you change the head gasket after that run?

  • Im Insured Third Party Fire & Theft With Quinn Direct

  • Im 17 And Got A Zr For My First Car Would Recommend Then Better Than Alot Of Other Small Cars And 1 Of The Quickest 1.4s Around

  • im trying to get insured on mine but no luck getting a quote so far, what are you insured on?

  • yeah it's a really good car init? i like its rear lights very much. its a really good car for young folks

  • i tanked my friends rover 1.6 on a roughly quarter mile sprint by about four lengths so no luck there

  • a mgzr 1.4 wud not beat the rover 1.6 .. i got rover 1.6 ..had over 130mph out of it on a flat! off the clocks downhill..so over 135 mph..u tellin me a 1.4 can do 130?

  • i have a corsa sxi 1.2 (with a mod air filter) and blasted out 120mph on the m62

  • Change the throttle body to either a Metal 52mm or if you can find one, 56mm throttle body, takes the power up, 52mm adds about 5bhp, 56mm ive been told adds around 10bhp. a 1.4 with either 110bhp or 115bhp isnt bad at all!! Standard throttle body is a 48mm 103BHP, i dont think there are that many 1.4's that are new on the market with that power.

timrob1 - thats a decent performance from your ZR :-)

  • yea they do 70 in 2nd i own one best car ive owned so far on a 1.4

  • How many cars have you had? Im thinking of buying a ZR for my 3rd car

  • they do 70 in 2nd gear

  • lol i have the same car.. and i can drive this little toy to almost the max of the meters.. thats 280 km/h right?

  • Just noticed, your rev needle instantly jumps back where as in my laguna it justs bimbles about being slow and sluggish.

Not that this has anything to do with the video.

  • how is that slow, it did 0 - 60 in 8 secs from a 1.4, thats really good 4 those that no lil bout cars

  • :) Mines quicker!

    no petrol!

  • 110 that it? wtf i been in a standard rover hittin 125

  • was it a rover 25? if so it wud have 2 be alot bigger than a 1.4 2 do 125mph. the 1.8 GTI only does 124mph. a 1.4 ZR would smoke any 25 1.4 or even 1.6, standard neway. lol

  • btw that was a reply 2 (t3hl34tne55)

    cant w8 2 get a ZR!

  • yhyh it wo a rover 25 1.6 and now my bro got a zr 1.8 turbo hes done 132 but thinks it can go quicker lol

  • lol tell him 2 find a steep hill or sumert :P

cant w8 get a zr! only got a shitty corsa 1.2 atm. wel it aint shit, but its no speed mechine lol

  • is dat da standard 1.4?

  • not as fast as mine but niice

  • Comment removed

  • whoopy doo

  • Does the person have a quick shift fitted ? thats prob y its hitting 60 so fast, unless there just good at changing gear, zed's have very sluggish gear chages

  • 160 vvc has short throw gears, i drove one of these 1.4 103bhp zrs and i was dissapointed, felt really slow.

  • I reckon he was tryin to get to the garage before it shut, after seeing the petrol gauge

  • AWSOME VID check out my mg zr 1.8 120 0-60 vid

  • god ur a cock. zr is awesome

  • the zr is awesome, but why is he a cock.

  • who cares? its a rover zr and worth nothing nowadays. good riddance

  • shows how much you know

  • Comment removed

  • mine does

    1st = 37mph

    2nd = 66mph

    3rd = 98mph

    4th = 112mph

5th dunno copper came other wai all i can say is wow the brakes were hot i love my mg zr need a new exhaust manifold now tho :S

  • they are fuckin fun cars i got about a week ago or my first car

  • 7.5 secs to 60mph!

  • 27 seconds 0-100, thats pretty shocking.

  • i got one of these myself just shit in 5th gear dont really move much :( i absolutely rip my mates zetec s's pants down until 4th when i hit 110mph then he zooms right past me lol 1.6 engine can give it more power in 5th though

  • nahh i rekon its standard..i got rover 25 1.6 n it reaches 60 in under 7 seconds

  • Wtf, a standard rover 25 1.6 that does 0-60 in under 7 seconds, hmm make that more like 12 or 13 seconds m8. MG Zr 1.8 16v 160hp does 0-60 in 7.4ish so how is wot ur sayin even possible...

  • Standard Rover 25 0-60 book figure is 9.5 seconds, Rover 216 book figure is 9.3. I do agree that you wont see sub 7 sec in a stand Rover 25 1.6.

    A 1.6 k series will not be slower than a 1.4 k series.

All these "claimed" 0-60 times, have they been time tested on a track or is it just folk in their cars with a mate using a stop watch, not taking into account speedo innacuracy or user innacuracy?

  • shut up noob

    1.4 0-60 = 10.2

so if your sayin the 1.6 which is more powerful than the 1.4, is slower, why would they make a 1.6.......exactly your wrong

    so shut up noob

  • lmao. You cock. Crawl out your own arse calling people a noob. Just because it's bigger doesn't automatically make it faster.

Look at the old sierra's, the 1.6 was faster than the 1.8.

The reason they design bigger engines is sometimes purely for smoothness.

  • so if you were to make a car you would make the smaller engine more powerful, and the bigger engine less powerfull.

    think about it

  • I can see this arguements gonna go nowhere fast. The simple fact is the smaller engines can be faster, bigger doesn't always mean better.

  • also, in this case we are talkin about the k-series. the 1.6 is exactly the same as the 1.4 except the pistons are different. so with more displacement there is obvs gonna be more power (providing nothing else is downgraded e.g exhaust, intake and the like)

    think about it xx

  • not a top speed run u only had 200rpm left in 5th gear that about 4mph left to go , and i agree it,s never a 1.4, my 1.8 can only do 40 in 1st, i think your bullshittin

  • The video finishes with him in fourth... :)

  • if u look closly when the camra goes skew-if he/her changes into second at low revs making it look like they are still in 1st. my tuned mgzs 1.8 150hp can only do 114 in 4th,

  • No, he/she is in first... my zr 105 does 69 / 70 in second... they all do

  • Doesn't matter how much you tune a car, the top speed in 1st gear with the standard gearbox will be the same, unless you increase the rev limit because the gear ratio's will remain unchanged.

My 1.4 16v Rover 200 does 37mph at the limiter in 1st gear, and so will a 1.6 because they have the same gearbox......

  • so your telling me that this car is a 1.4... my mgzs 1.8 witch had a diffrent gearbox can only just hit 110mph in 4th, witch this mg had done,

  • Comment removed

  • that is true, were high top speed in first 4 a 1.4, shame they dint build k series stronger, ther good engines

  • i have the 1.8 120+ and mine can only reack 36ish in 1st i cant believe this is a standard 1.4i iv test drove a couple and there not this quick. CHECK OUT MY ZR 0-60 VID!!

  • No way is that standard! You must have it stripped out or something. My 160 is barely quicker to 60 @ 7.3s

  • i have an mg zr nice to drive but what a troublesome motor . the head gasket i got done 7000 miles ago is on de way out already even after replacing rad ,skimmed head etc

  • Did you have it replaced with the new double-layer type? That set comes as a kit with new metal head locating studs and, in all cases i've seen, sorts the problem out.

If you had a garage do it, are you absolutely sure they skimmed the head or did they just tell you they did?

  • its a mg-zr aswell obviously lol

  • we did a 0-60 in my mates car and that was near full tank, and me and my mate driving, and we did 9.4, and i timed this on my phone and u did 8.2.

  • u got no fuel!!!!!! lol

  • Are you retarded? Its only a 1.4! You my simple viewer are one seriously retarded character.

As you say "0-60 in 9 seconds." is slow by ANY standard? Then why by your timing at 9 seconds is the car quicker than the book 'standard' figure which is 10 secs...

    You = FAIL!

  • moron

  • revcom = FUKKIN G prik u find a 1.4 straight out the factory that does them times without the aid of a turbo/supercharger..... what a prik, english engineering brilliance at 105bhp tbh

  • These times are good most 1.4 0-60 times are between 11 and 12s stock. The mg zr is 10s stock so even as standard ifs faster then other 1.4s

Good video, Your dash looks creative also

  • they got new gaskets nw soo hush ya prik ha

  • Yes... because revving a car and giving it a bit of stick now and again will most certainly cause the k-series to blow a head gasket.. **sarcasm**

  • The K series is definitely one of the best engines ever made IMO. I have a Rover 416i with the K, and it trashes pretty much every corsa and other small car I've met! Pretty even with a ZR 1.4 though lol, probs coz of the bigger size.

Get a rover 25, much cheaper to insure than a ZR.

  • @mattyprice4004 both rovers & mg's qualify for classic car insurance which is fook all...

  • no they int the same go on type in on google an they explain how much is diff from rover to that!and the facelift mg has gt a betta clutch an accelrator then the old zr

  • Hi man, i have one mg zr 1.4 liter, and it's the BEST 1.4 in the world!!!

  • cany wait till july wen im insured on my mums for 2 weeks, i only drive a 1 litre corsa so it should be interesting lol

  • yeh i have a rover 400 1.4 if you look in my videos but im after a rover coupe 1.6 or 2.0. the power from those rover engines is brilliant. i desperately want a coupe if any1 is selling 1?
