Sorry da ik het misschien vraag ma weet iemand het nummer dat gedraaid wordt op t begin ? Ik was er ook bij in de Boiler en had ook enorm veel schrik.. maar wist niet goed wat er gaaande was... Ik stond helemaal in het midden vooraan maar toch voelde ik de hagel keihard op mijn hoofd slaan , heb er zelfs blauwe plekken aan overgehouden..

j'étais au même endroit, au même moment. Après avoir vu les structures de la toile en face de nous s'effondrer, j'ai compris que c'était loin d’être drôle . Malheuresement beaucoup de gens ne se sont rendu compte de rien.

Il a fallu que la musique s'arrête et voir les gens se diriger par milliers vers la sortie pour se rendre compte de ce qui nous était vraiment arrivé sur la gueule...

Une grosse pensée à ces Pukkelpopers qui n'ont pas eu notre chance.

I am a Peruvian and lived in Belgium (Kempen) for 4 years till last year. I just LOVE Belgium, I have the best impression of the Belgians: friendly, respectful and warm people. Been to Werchter & Pukkelpop 3 times & i still wear my "armbandjes" I just cannot believe this tragedy. Even far away now (in Peru) I feel really sad. When I see the videos cant help it to cry. Nobody's fault. I know this weather can be so unexpected. My condenlences to the victim's familys, Ik zie je graag Belgie!! :'(

I was outside in the open air section, one side collapsed and we ran for our lifes. We where lucky because the pole came down 10 meters from where we were standing. It was like stormchasers on TV but with no shelter.

Kheb mij echt een ongeluk verschoten alsdie grote tent naast boiler instortte zo efkes 1 meter van mijn voeten! Eerst iedereen happy enzo wa frisse lucht en wat water op je gezicht daarna hel die losbrak: boxen, lichten, die steunpilaren...

Hopelijk is iedereen veilig thuisgekomen en natuurlijk mijn deelname aan mensen die verwond zijn en aan familie van de overleden personen..

Stond daar ook, gillende mensen, dronken mensen die gewoon zonder t-shirt rondliepen, ijskoude regen, hagel zo groot als tennisballen, balken die doorzakten.

Veel respect voor de hulpdiensten en politie die er binnen de 10 minuten was, en mijn innige deelneming naar de familie en vrienden van de gewonden en doden.

When I see so many people hiding in this tent in so strong storm... It is not very responsible by Pukklepop. Tent like this collapsed by storm two years ago on our festival Pohoda and two people died. RIP

@mdognirvana boiler room itself did not collapse as far as i know. but part of the open space / open air dance section next to the boiler room was half covered and this tent collapsed. also belgian tv speaks about boiler room collapsing but guess they refer to this extra section of the boiler room.

@MrHakimi007 It didn't. It was still very straight when I came to the pukkelpop scene saturday. Somehow a wrong rumour has spread. The sails near the boiler room collapsed, the boiler room itself didn't.

@mdognirvana boiler room did not collapse. But there was a danceplace between dancehall and boiler room. and that open space collapsed . can't believe that i saw it collapsing.

It was so unreal, I was in that tent, worrying about not getting to wet, and when the rain stopped I walked to the entrance and I heard that, at the same time that were complaining about the rain and that the music stopped, people died and got serieusly injured just a few hundred meters away from us...

@SeanRougher I was there, official reports say 3 dead, +- 14 seriously injured, 60 with small injuries

@SeanRougher yeah a lot of the acts will drop out, which is only normal. This is my opinion: It is very sad that people have died, but it would be a true tragedy all together if the entire festival would be cancelled, it could be a tribute to those who have died... just my opinion

@SeanRougher yeah a storm was forecast for today, but we have never ever seen anything like this before, this is my third year at pukkelpop and I've never seen a storm this fierce, we knew there was going to be a lot of rain, thunder and lightning but we've never had so much rain before, unbelievable :/

@SeanRougher everyone's just a bit shocked, but we'll be allright, the names of the dead are: Pieter van Hoogewijze, Jeffrey Vanhout and Anja de Bolder. I'll keep you posted
