  • When my husband and I met, your Band was touring. We met you at a local bar in Sudbury, Ontario off of Pine Street. Just a small cafe bar but you took the time to sign a t-shirt for me. You will always be in our hearts and MUSIC world as ICONS. Hope all is well with you and your Family. Hugs from a devoted FAN FROM SUDBURY, ONTARIO :) XOXOX

  • canadian hair bands from the 80's.......dosen't get better!!

  • great canadian band that some how got overlooked.from the HAMMER

  • Wow, i just stumbled upon this video. Totally forgot about this song from back then. I have not heard this since my teen years. It's good to hear it again. It sure stimulates those old memory banks.

  • Beautifull song !

  • He is playing live on the radio this Thursday December 21st @ 91.7 Giant FM - Niagara's Classic Rock. I'm hoping he will play this song it is so awesome!!!

    Fantastic band... :)

  • Awesome song!

    Is that Rachel McAdams?

  • I remember seeing this band back in the late 1980's play in Belleville, Ont. at The Doctor's Hotel on Station St. This band had a real talent going on back then i loved this song a lot.

  • This guy is my vocal coach, and so is Diana Yampolski of Vocal Science

  • Wow. Thx 4 the memories! i didn't think anyone would remember this!

Major Hill Park, Ottawa - July 1,1990. I saw Ray Lyell playing as part of the Canada Day festival. After his set we saw him getting beer from the beer garden and on his way back we said HEY RAY! and he sat and talked to us - just fans - for about ten or 15 min. A real man of quality and a real talent. I wish things would have worked out bigger for this guy. Now HE deserves a rock career, not like most of the wannabe's today.

  • Such a mission to find this song...As good as i almost remembered it

  • I was also in this video...the girl at the beginning and at the end playing the tambourine...so fun. I was 9 or ten yrs old and now I'm 30...so weird to see it on the internet!

  • you were a cute kid, I bet you grew up to be a beauty.

  • @gurlhavinfun - I was there too! well, I was across the street at Gold Door Variety store the day it was shot.

  • anyone know the chords? I almost got it but im missing a chord or 2

  • I think all of us needed to be "carried", and Ray captured it in this beautiful hard hittin song.

  • i know ray lyell hes a friend of mine and hes my martial arts teacher and guitar

  • It's Paula Tessarao. An awesome singer and a very nice person (along with Ray as well). Ray should be playing arena's, his band is awesome live and he is a great frontman, great songwriter, lyric writer, singer, etc. Saw them in 2005 at Hamilton Place it was an incredible evening. I just don't understand why this guy never made it bigger. There's still hope, you never know, maybe he'll come out with a new CD? It would be nice!

  • anybody know who the woman is who sings in the chorus?? I believe she has done a song with Jason McCoy too

  • Wow this song is soo awsome. Its not fair my parents got to meet him and the band. But his music is still great.

  • i know ray lyell in person

he is my martial arts teacher and guitar teacher

  • Excellent song by a very under rated singer!

  • What a wonderful song. How often are we oblivious to another's hurt......until it is too late?!!!

  • I love this song! I could play it over and over on a road trip or a rainy day. Excellent lyrics. Brings back memories from high school. Thanks for posting it!

  • omg i was in this video !!! so much fun shooting but such a sad song

  • This is my favourite of Ray's songs :) I could listen to this song over and over. I remember singing along to this song at some of the shows when I was little (Complete with my 'president of the Jr, Fanculb t-shirt... and if any of you went to that concert he did at the Studio theatre in Hamilton, you'll know what I'm talking about :p) Ray also sang at my grandmother's funeral... he always said that my nana was a great influence in his life.

  • Great song :)

  • wow thnx for putting this video on my friend beetle bailey cried when he first saw it...

  • Another great song by a great man. Love you Ray Lyell!

  • My husband is a friend of Brad Elvis in the American band called the Romantics. Elvis is not his real last name. I can't and wont say what it is. Have a Merry Christmas. Tell Als sisters and brother I said hi.

  • I am a friend of your family I came with a family member to Canada and meant you. Your band sounds great! Also Varinia has a great voice I wish you would ask her to sing in your band. She also wrote a song before this last one in December that was so pretty it made me cry. I am a friend of Al.
