  • @StephieGucci I dont know. how?

  • i went in this weekend and it was the best feeling in the world real scary though.

  • the girl in the white shirt is my sister and i love her

  • I'm the girl jumping in the video so I'll answer a few questions (if anyone is even still paying attention:

Its about a 40 foot drop

People drown in it not because of currents, that is a myth. They drown because they are not strong swimmers.

I am a local and so was everyone in the video and people jump in all the time.

We weren't littering, they were our shoes which we swam to get afterward.

  • lol I'd be temped to push someone in.

  • it is scary

  • Are you guys crazy....that's the deepest blue hole in the world!!! people die from that i live in Nassau but i would never ever drive nor swim in dean's blue hole

  • Looks so cool. I wanna jump!

  • go to save holy sites dot com to know the truth about Elenin, apophis, and Earth disaster(s) researched by trained researcher, get encouragement, submit prayer request for life, get the only facts on how to survive and see the day after. at my holy house dot com see videos on this topic, documentaries, pics, encouragements how various wars, i.e. Israel mid east, China factor in with U.S. policy and politics, news reports on most come now, choose life!

  • that is so amazing but yet so scary

  • the girl in the white shirt who jumped in is my sister

  • I dont like these holes :((((, I only feel safe with my gf's hole :)))

  • i live in the bahamas an i wouldnt even dive in there!

  • Long Island, Bahamas. The Bahamas is a country made up of islands East of the coast of Florida, and Long Island is one of the islands in the chain. I believe I found this looking at Google Maps on the Northern shore, just a couple miles West of Clarence Town.

  • i want to jump too

  • thats scary, can you imagine swimming right out to the center of the hole!

  • I live in the Bahamas.. we do this all the time :)

  • @UserNamei5 The Bahamas are not in the Caribbean.

  • @dav1492 Since when are the Bahamas not in the Caribbean Basin? Have they moved?

  • @Tang0Fox1 Since the perimeter of the Caribbean is defined on its Northern perimeter by Cuba, Hispaniola, PuertoRico. Is Florida in the Caribbean? It is due west of The Bahamas. I am not making this up. The Caribbean is the circle of water inside (from north to southeast) Cuba, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, BVI, USVI, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada,Trinidad Tobago, The ABC's and then Latin America to the West off Cozumel back to Cuba. For true.

  • @dav1492 I didn't think you were. I just wanted clarification. I'm just so used to thinking of Bahamas as part of Caricom that seeing them as not part of the Caribbean was disturbing to me that's all. But I guess from a geographical point of view they're not but I still think of them as part of us.

  • if it gets flood a big whirpool pops up and u can get sucked in it when you are swimming there whatever nice video :)

  • I'd dive this blue hole before the one in Egypt, (the arch) at Dahab. This one looks more inviting without having headstones at the dive entrance!!

  • hahahaha..... Dean's Blue Hole....

  • it´s 202 metres deep actually (more than six hundred feet). it´s the depper blue hole in the world.

  • Comment removed

  • how high of a jump is that?

  • blue holes are dangerous a couple of boys drowned beacause the current sucked them in

  • @tigerkewl Actually, I thought was 'cause of narcosis.

  • i whent over a blue hole in my island it was so deep and scarey and it bubbled up i herd a women dived in a blue hole with no gear

  • that looks scary as fuck i would never just my mama told me about it lol

  • what makes that part of sea so dark?

  • @BeLLadonna1230 Because it's it's a freakin 663 foot deep hole in the sea floor.

  • @BeLLadonna1230

    deep

  • @BeLLadonna1230 Because of how deep it is...

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD a whirlpool opens up.

    Bye bye

  • if theres no bottom for this blue hole then how come its 663 ft in depth lol...

  • i would love to do this.... this is gonna be on my bucket list...

  • Haha, that's me... I don't remember anyone filming this though...

  • Its a 600ft hole...there is no bottom to this?......REALLY?, I think you'll find there is.

  • Wow, beautiful, I have to make sure I check it out when I go to the Bahamas again.

  • Adrian you think thats Sac's Pool when we were in high school lol!

  • shit i will never jump in this hole ....... i would die of an heart attack before. I hate deep water

  • Im too

  • How deep is it? It's kinda scary..imagine a big monster going out of the hole xD

  • 202 metres (663 ft)

  • @Dausaua why is there such a deep hole ?? cant be from a bomb

  • @SlinFane It's an underwater cave.

  • @Dausaua Uh, no. It's 202 FEET (82 meters).

  • @mcg413 You're wrong.

  • @Dausaua Oh, sorry. I read it wrong.

  • @markslo111 a big monster is the first thing that comes to my mind whenever I see "Dean's Blue Hole"

  • @markslo111 I think Dean's Blue Hole is anoxic (could be wrong..but most Blue Holes are usually anoxic)...meaning there is no dissolved oxygen in the water past a certain depth...and no oxygen means no life...which of course means no big..or small..monsters. Still it doesn't stop your imagination from taking over and it sure freaks the hell out of me lol

  • @CANADIANYETI well they did have an article in NG about how some weird animals (i think bacteria) found a way of living without oxygen in those holes

  • @markslo111 Exactly what I was thinking, damn you stole my comment urm 6 months ago :)

  • @markslo111 It is scary, I am from the Bahamas, we locals steer clear of these blue holes...Trust me, many drownings have been blames on those blue holes.

  • @markslo111 202 feet (82 meters)

  • @markslo111 Wanna see creepy??!! Check out the BLUE HOLE IN EGYPT. IT'S CALLED "THE ARCH" AND IS IN "DAHAB" i believe? The bodies of the divers have not all been retrieved due to the depth of the water and they show the bodies of scuba divers who didn't heed the warnig before diving and they dived for the last time and are still at the bottom past "The Arch." Check it out on You Tube. Also have a diver diving "the arch" and he runs into some problems and dies on tape.

  • cool, ive jumped this... great spot
