When a band first get the opportunity to make a record they have a bunch of songs that they would have spent ages making as good as possible. by the time you've written five albums it would be very hard to write something original by your own standards let alone when compared to everyone else's music. especially pantera.
Ugh! Pantera already made this music. Mudvayne's first two albums were so original and they hyped this one up to deliver that but of course it does not. I am once again disappointed.

And after listening to all songs, I will tell you guys that this album is LD50 influenced. Heavy vocals. Heavy drumming. The bass stands out and everything. And 9 out of the 11 songs are heavy. "Closer" is my favorite off of the new album!!!
Their are much longer screams than this, try tool or (cant actually remember the name of the band), some death metal band and the lead singer screams for an insane amount of time.

It may not be an L.D. 50, but at least it's a big step up from the new game. Mudvayne is/has been my favorite band for quite a while, and even then that album was hard to deal with. As for this album: from the 2 tracks I've heard, I'm hoping/expecting it to be on par with Lost & Found which IMO was an awesome record. So yeah... CAN"T FUCKING WAIT!

Well you like Mudvayne or not, it's their music and it's up to them to do what they want with. If they decide to release a country album for their next cd, it's fine by me. If you really like the band, you should just support them no matter what instead of calling them posers and emo if they end up releasing something that you didn't like.

Change in musical style =/= sellouts. Most bands go through one form of evolution or another, and it just so happens that sometimes they lose a lot of fans in the process. Chad and the others write this music for nobody but themselves, for no greater reason than that it is what they love to do.

It may not be an L.D. 50, but at least it's a big step up from the new game. Mudvayne is/has been my favorite band for quite a while, and even then that album was hard to deal with. As for this album: from the 2 tracks I've heard, I'm hoping/expecting it to be on par with Lost & Found which IMO was an awesome record. So yeah... CAN"T FUCKING WAIT!
