great film, although i don't agree how it was trying to portray a political picture how life in yugoslavia was horrible and no one had freedom of expression. yes, people who were against the system and what it represented were punished but lets not forget that the ethnic nationalism they were trying to stop (& that took over) was just as bad, if not worse.you just have to look at the state of those countries now to see that. communism did have its flaws, but quality of life was much better.

Kurwa,jakbym widzial Polske z poczatku lat 80-tych.Tez mialem podobne problemy jako dzieciak ale na szczescie mialem normalnych rodzicow (sami grali w kapelach a'la The Beatles) wiec moglem napierdalac po garach punkrocka.Martwili sie tylko moim wygladem-ze wpierdol dostane od wiesniakow.Bylo fajnie i cwaniakowalem ale jak raz przyszedlem do domu z rozjebana morda to sie skonczylo.I mimo ze minelo juz 20 pare lat to od wtedy chodze z lancuchem i zadna kurwa juz do mnie nie podskoczy...HxC

About 14 years ago I had a very bad car accident that left me 3 months in the hospital and 3 months in to a recovery centre. The guy that crashed me into 5 parked cars pulled on me saying we have to leave ! I say'd go away I know I was broken and he left me for dead. *choose your friends wisely this world is full of paste sides* They kept me 4 weeks in a artificial coma. when I woke up I saw my dad 2 time he din't say 1 thing I just saw death in his eye's he past away of a heart stroke @ his job

Thank god we are free now to think and choose what ever we like to be !!! My Father had very much love for us as one family but the sad part, He had a extremely closed personality sow I haven't learned so much. Both side's of our Family's din't like my mother and some even say'd she was a Whore and such people are so religiously baloney ! much has gone wrong and I am broken up madly frustrated just like my dad a HEAT HEADED person. I have marks all around the house in doors and even walls

My Father went to America and Lived there for about 14 years and when he came back to the Netherlands he meets my mother and then my brother and I were born ! As a young kid I noticed that every time my Father came back home 18:00 the news came on the TV and DO NEVER EVER ! disturb his routine looking at the news. My father was in the Army in Indonesia and in America. My Brother and me are the last of our generation that has experienced the passageway * level crossing to a more free open mind

His Father had more loving interest for politics then his own son so that's why you hear on the TV the Death of the president and his son say's Father I am here ! and talking about a bad timing for him walking in the hospital. he walks in to the room thinking she all ready got the surgery done. By then he walks away and comes back and look her straight in to her eye's like a man facing the one who made the choice to take away life ! BUT SHE DIN'T :...( Life can be so unpredictable in Chaos

Dear, I'm glad you've been touched as much as I have been. The story is not real life based, but it paints really well - the atmosphere and social issues of those for Yugoslavia critical times when Tito was dying. It's my favorite slovenian film and I've uploaded it because I thought it needed to reach bigger, international audience. I'm glad english subtitles are functioning so well! Warmest regards, JG

@JureGorucan I Hope things are better now in Yugoslavia ! May this old regime never to be forgotten to new age youngsters ! they should teach all kids to never turn in to puppets. I am feeling your purpose to show the open public the mistakes that has been in the past and present ! My Father has been in the Japanese Camp sow they shot 4 young friends point black in the face. My Father got lucky enough to flee to the Netherlands long ago together with his mother and sister. Next page
