Love this because it was the first time he did an acoustic version. However the Foxwoods WLL took it to a whole new level. I think it is the best WLL cover ever and it's so sad that there is no professional recording and so few people know about it.
This is the first I've ever seen of this version and ''WOW'' is all I can say!! I'm a huge, huge Zepplin fan and feel NO ONE should ever attempt to sing a Zep song! When it was announced that he was going to sing this song on AI the first time, I cringed a little at the thought! Into the first 30 seconds of the song, I found myself acting little school girl and even developed a little man crush for him (ha ha) After that performance, he become my favorite all time AI performer of all time!

His performance was a once in a lifetime experience for those of us in the audience on so many levels putting it in a class unto itself. I remember the silence of the audience only to be broken by the small soft words screamed defining the pleasures & joys being experienced by the 3k+ attendees seated...many there without a ticket standing at the several bars set up in the back. Listen and you can feel the mood.

What can I say? I return to this video of WLL from Fantasy Springs over & over again. I am JUST about ready to KILL (hitting the keyboard now xD) someone. I HAVE TO see him perform WLL with my own eyes. I just HAVE to!! It's a must, something I have to do before I die. But, SERIOUSLY, if I don't get to see him live in ayear from now, I will go crazy. And I do not mean in a good way!! I keep coming back to this, too. It's absolutely one of my fave performances of his, and very possibly my absolute fave. But that's kind of like saying, do you like this piece of gold or that one, lol! I have this on my phone. I was at the Springfield, MO concert, and he kinda went all Fantasy Springs on us there for WLL. He seemed to be feelin' the crowd. It was AWESOME, as was the whole show!!! To top it off, I got his and the band's sigs!! Still can't believe it. Was also at the KC concert.
