They had competition from both at the time, though technologically, the competition's consoles were inferior, the Saturn was just too difficult to program for due to multi-processor technology before it's time. (Something Sony is using in the PS3 now if I recall. Leave it to Sony to steal all their ideas from everyone else)

The only thing I miss in this is that noone screams "How-wut-Zaaa" (or so it sounds,some1 always says it really fast) like in EVERY eastern movie (esp. from the 60's-70's Kung-Foo-Movies) at least 1 guy always makes this weird noise-talking that sounds like that... weird.

I didn't know Segata Sanshiro, and that's because in 1997 and 98' Sega Saturn was absolutely DEAD out of Japan. But Saturn was a good console. Sad Sega went by the wrong way with its merchandising. Same for Dreamcast.
