Hey Pete I was wondering is it possible to rack a round on your shotgun when mounted? Is it possible to pull the trigger? Nice video man thanks for posting.
I think its a cool idea, but if youve ever been super nervous or stressed, i think that key situation could be a problem. first you gotta make sure you have the key, then get it in the key hole and turn it multiple times. I dont know what the right answer is, but i dont think it would be for me anyhow. Im not saying its not a cool piece or well built or anything, just that it wouldnt necessarily make me feel safe with the steps needed to get to the firearm. Pistol is always the best bet anyhow

Hi Pete, I am fairly new to your channal but have been going through your videos. Question on your 930.After watching your posts on it, I have been looking into the 930 spx(as my first shotgun for HD). the only negative review has to do with the pistol grip making it hard to reach the safety without getting off a ready position to reach it.I see that you don't have the pistol grip. The gun shop I frequent recommended the Rem 1100,pretty expensive.Is a pistol grip that important?thanks
those dolls are freaky. real cool rack but I'm not a fan of displaying my long guns or having them out like that... just me. Actually I sold my Knights Arm :( for my new truck but I still have the Benelli M4. But yeah a dog is a great security tool! They always know!

Hey Pete I am curious about that rack in regards to a possible discharge. Someone could rack the charging handle and load a round and that trigger can still be engaged. I may be wrong and if so let me know but that seems very dangerous. God forbid someones kid somewhere is looking at it and pulls the charging handle to investigate. We all know what comes next and I hope nobody has to find out the bad way.
Seems ok if you don't keep one in the chamber. I wouldn't be comfortable having that peg inside my trigger guard messing around at three in the morning half asleep trying to unlock it in a hurry. You are putting a lot of faith in that safety. More of a display rack than anything. Might be ok if magazine tube is only loaded.

Pete is that a benelli? I know it's an autoloader I can tell that by the magazine tube and under grip mount. Nice picatinni rail also. I finally got my Mossberg 500 with a raptor grip tricked out. I took the advice of a friend and used a drill to make a hole in it and inserted a tube of nasa memory foam which absorbs kinetic energy and I swear it's reduced the shock recoil to my hand by at least 20%. @Orion8086 Gotta say, I like the way you think. We'll look into a off white powder coat, mount it next to the tank and you won't even know it's there. Maybe add a tp holder to the base, duel purpose and easier to talk the wife into it's place in the john. We don't shy away from any requests.

Yeah, dogs are the best alarm no doubt. Are two dogs are only 20 lbs each, but they can make a lot of racket LOL. They even know if there's someone talking out on the driveway, if it ain't my wife or myself. Double Sweet shotgun and a nice rack install!
Your wife will probably dig the rack if you let her hang a couple of potted plants off the shotgun. I could see one of those racks in the verticle position, mounted in the corner of the room beside my bed.

@Orion8086 Gotta say, I like the way you think. We'll look into a off white powder coat, mount it next to the tank and you won't even know it's there. Maybe add a tp holder to the base, duel purpose and easier to talk the wife into it's place in the john. We don't shy away from any requests.

Yeah, dogs are the best alarm no doubt. Are two dogs are only 20 lbs each, but they can make a lot of racket LOL. They even know if there's someone talking out on the driveway, if it ain't my wife or myself. Double Sweet shotgun and a nice rack install!
