@butterflygazer YEP! MY 40HRS was natural with a 9 1/2LB 23 1/2" but no TV cameras (just as well ) BUT THESE days there is NO childbirth pain !! CONGRATS to them though n God Bless all are healthy !!

@MsKARMA911 mine was 36 hours of complete torture. there is childbirth pain and no matter how many breathing and Lamaze exercises i did i was in so much pain i could not breathe properly through as contraction and i beg for the epidural and they would not give it to me. Then when they realized after 36 hours i was too tired to push and i could not hold my legs up and baby is showing distress I got one for a c-section (which i thank go for) after 36 hours of torture

A lot of women are saying that it looks fake because she looked good, it just depends on the woman. My cousin is such a girly girl and diva, that when she went in labor she was with her hair and make up done, even though her labor lasted 27 hrs.

Alot of women are opting for their hair and makeup being done b4 the baby is born..Another thing thats becoming very popular in having a birth photographer..You can look them up on youtube and see some awesome videos!!I think she did great who cares about her tan ,,,Look how inlove all of them are with that babygirl..My daughter has hyper emesis and is on An IV line takes 4 diff meds a day ..So the hair and makeup thing will have to be a wait and see!She is due feb2012 god willing
