They are a tribe, it is of course funny and odd to see someone outside of your culture try to fit in, let alone with such a comical appearance of face paint and hairstyle slapped on. If yvonne felt offended by their excessive laughing, she should try talking to them... she needs to understand that that might be the way they react to something foreign and new, much as they need to understand that yvonne does not feel good about their laughing.

If she wants to be like them, it might have been a better starting to learn the language and to understand the common behaveor of the people she is trying to addapt to. This is a poor attempt to impersonate a people just by dressing out (the dressing and the paint was very succesful though).
