  • could anyone subtitule this video please, thanks and salutation to all the fans of the great Edith Piaf

  • Quelqu'un sait quelle rue est filmée à la fin de cette vidéo ?

  • wasnt Edith and Somone half sisters?

  • NO only friends! it's a pure invention from Simone Berteaut in 1969!

  • @astrasburgo Simone and Edith were halfsisters ....

  • @15mystique

no, this woman was a liar. She stole a lot of things from Piaf, even her car, and Piaf supported her and paid for her daughter for years. This woman fooled everyone and even wrote a false book when Piaf died.

  • no, they were not. Piaf was a naive woman who was also very egocentric and who supported people financially around her because otherwise people would have not stand by her so long.

  • @mrlopez2681 no that was just a friendly manner to call her "sister" but they don't

  • @mrlopez2681 YES they have one father!!!!

  • Merci pour cet extrait

  • Also I found an artikel (in german) that was released in Oct.27th 1969, where Simones book "Piaf" was the No1 subject. It says that Simone was invited to a TV Show but canceld it because of her sickness. She went straight in a Sanatorium near Paris and never left it. *?* I`m totally confused now! What is the truth? Are your informations correct or are mine?

  • Where do you got this informations from?

In Joelle Mouserrats Book "Edith Piaf, Non je ne regrette rien", released in 1983, is documented, that Simone died on 30.05.1970 not 1975...*?*

I think she wasn`t Edith`s sister but her friend (lover?). Your comments are quiet interesting but is there any proof on that? Again, where do you got this informations from? I also never heard about the book "Momone". I guess that is a re-release of "Piaf" from 1969. Love to read from you again ;-)Greetings,Andie

  • you are right, she said she was her sister but she was not.

  • And - just for the record - this interview is from 1969, just after Berteaut`s book "Piaf" was released!

  • sorry, you are wrong. Simone Berteaut died on 30 May 1975 and this inteview was released in 1973 for the ORTF ( French Television)for the 10th anniversary of Edith's dead

  • I got other informations on Simone Berteaut. A friend of mine, who lives in France, told me she died on 30.05.1970 in a Sanatorium near Paris.

Where did you got the Information that Berteaut died 5 years later?

  • it's not true . she lived with a young gay man in the 70's near Chartres and she was found dead alone in her loft by the police the 30th May 1975. She was born in Lyon in 1916 and not in 1918 and was only a friend of Edith and not her half sister. Believe me! anyway the interview tht i'm upload is from 1973

  • @astrasburgo WTF ?! Simone was the halfsister of Edith that's surten everybody knows that ...

  • @andreamoonsister I've read that book

  • Thnak you for sharing this video! Very seldom and rare! Does anyone have the complete Interview? Please contact me if....

    Merci, Andrea
