Even if the FIA didn't have a rule on wheel spinning after a race, drivers would be told not to do it by the team. It just burns more fuel and more rubber from the tyres (and therefore shedding more weight...which is needed to meet the minimum weight rules).
this drivers dad has a fastfood restaurant in the capitol city in switzerland. i was there quiet often. i also seen neel jani (the driver in this video) often in a kart race track near bern. he is pretty good actually. its a shame he never had a chance for a F1 race cockpit
It would be dumb to put that much stress on a component that is so strategically important to the team throughout the year. Just imagine if Vettel does that this year, then ends up losing an important Grand Prix because of the stress he put on his Renault power plant. The engine and transmission limit make spins and burnouts detrimental to the team.
@TristanDoran1 Because some racing series have more class than stupid ass Nascar. These drivers have more respect for their competitors rather than doing burnouts in their faces. They're representing their country not being douchebags.
@TristanDoran1 driver safety, make the cars last and also the spins would cause the tires to degrade and thus they might not meet the post race weight criterion.
@TristanDoran1 its mainly because the tracks cost 2 and a half million per meter and they'll tear the shit out of them. That and the anti-stall kicks in and he'll be stuck in the middle of the track like a waxed lemon.
Not sure. But A1 is through and F1 has a bigger market now but he could stay in Sports Car and bring up an India team there. Check out Neel Jani`s web site.

i remember raikkonen doing burn outs in spa 2007 after he won the race and james allen said: "think he'll end up in a court room?"
i thought: "what... the... fuck..."

Don't feel bad for it. It was rebuilt just hours after this exhibition was over! :)

Why can't the drivers celebrate by doing spins and burnouts like they used to after a race win?
It's a stupid rule that the FIA have.

toro rosso was the only team to be allow to run v10 in 2006 (with revs limited), because their forerunner minardi didn't have enough money...
but now as the car is painted like a red bull, there's "renault" on the engine cover but cosworth inside
