  • is this available on dvd in america?

  • this lion cub's head is too damn big. but not as big as my boyfriend's balls.

  • Japanese Lion King

  • @captaintaco2345 lion king is an english jungle emporer leo.

  • @captaintaco2345 Original "Lion King"

  • I have always loved Kimba the white lion. I love the 1985 series that were dubbed in english and the movie with Kimba grown up. I love how Panja is in this film, but that is the only thing I like about this film. They ruined Kimba's personallty entirely. Kimba is supposed to brave but in this he's whiney. Plus no Lira or Coco. I just like the other versions better. Plus Kimba's eyes are not red. They are bright blue.

  • Is this supposed to be a metaphore for "Big Brother"? I used to think animals knew they were being watched or could at least sence it when people put radio transmitters on them and always saw it as an invasion of their privacy. But I really see this movie as a methaphore for "Big Brother".

  • Poor animals....

  • lol Toto, YOU'RE A DOG IN DISGUISE!!! =O

  • Hmm...I started to wonder if the animals couldn't stay out in the real world because of people--like, people moving into animals' habitats, and things like that. Or maybe it was just some natural problem...but...likely it's a people problem.

At least things will probably progress in this movie and a lot of people, enough to make an impact, will decide to do something. People can't agree on what to do so nothing gets better. It'll take a while.

    Meh. Soapbox.

    Thank you for uploading! :)

  • Whenever there's a movie about lions, you can bet people will be mentioning The Lion King again. Will this curse ever end? No, it won't.

  • Leo's mom is a beast.

  • panja's face almost looks human? :3

  • For those wondering: there's a difference between wild life preserves, zoos, and circuses. Zoos and wild life preserves are all for the benefit of saving animals that are being poached, close to extinction or just won't be able to make it (one that's severely damaged); circuses and side shows are an entirely different story since it's disturbing the natural order and plus you ADMIRE them in zoos, you DEGRADE if you laugh when a bear is on a unicycle on a tight rope and has to land in kiddy pool.

  • @Persona100Duh You couldn't have put it better. Most zoo's take great care of their animals - excellent healthcare, quality food, enclosures that are suited to resemble their natural habitats, not to mention most of them are born in captivity and have no concept of the wild. Most animals in zoos live much longer because of all of that, plus are in no danger from natural predators or poachers. Circuses are the complete opposite.. treat their animals like crap, abuse them, force them to do tricks.

  • @WaterIily Exactly! Most of the zoos I've seen were incredibly wonderful to their animals, cleaned their pens daily and if they had them do a trick, it's not even a degrading one--they get rewarded and it shows off at the same time their physical prowess and cunning; and WITHOUT having them jump through hoops on fire. And you're very right about the ones born in captivity and just don't understand it. I can't stand circuses--those terrible places.

  • @WaterIily wow umm zoos do abuse their animals and steal animals from the wild for their own benefit they work with poachers they are just as bad I have down extensive research on this

  • @WaterIily that be a lie too they live much shorter and they do work with poachers to steal them from the environment. No enclosure can ever resemble a real habitat. Haven't you ever heard of zoochosis? they also abuse their animals sadly I use to believe in wut u said but i did research on that. even the greatest zoo animlas suffer from zoochosis and put on antidepressents

  • some people need to do extensive research before they comment and say abt certain things

  • @Persona100Duh Even places like Seaworld..a lot of people compare them to circuses, but I see a pretty big difference. I know I'm gonna get flamed for saying this by some anti-caps but I think they're treated wonderfully. Are never abused, and the trainers reward them with positive reinforcement, unlike circuses, who beat them when they don't perform. When not performing, they're not kept in cages where they can barely move, sitting in their own feces, etc. Wow sorry for rambling hahaha.

  • @WaterIily No, no I like your ranting because I agree! Seaworld gets a pretty bad rap for lots of things but I've never seen the animals abused or unhappy, and once, one of their dolphins or killer whales didn't feel like performing and they didn't reprimand it--the animal has a choice and they went, "Okay, hon, do it when you feel ready," and it did because there was no pressure. And the living environments were very clean and sterile so I definitely agree.

  • @WaterIily I agree. The thing about places like Seaworld is that it can be extremely difficult to get a job working hands-on with the animals there, as it's a very sought after position and the people who apply are very competitive. Because of that, the people who *do* end up with the jobs are usually the most dedicated and passionate about what they do. They'd never intentionally treat the animals poorly.

Not to mention the performances there are good forms of mental stimulation and enrichment.

  • @zekumi yeah, I heard that just to get an INTERVIEW for an animal trainer position, you have to have your master's degree in marine biology, passed that advanced scuba diving test, hold your breath underwater for like 2 minutes, and have past experience with marine mammals. Ouch! Imagine if you accomplish all that, have an interview and not get the job? That would suck.

  • @WaterIily umm they force their animals to perform and their breeding whale is forced to breed and be by himself for ever...they live alot shorter and suffer in clorine water...their water enclosures are smaller then the ocean sea world is just as bad as circuses sorry but i did lots of research

  • @WaterIily Ugh, You just reminded me of something HORRIBLE. We were at the fair, right? And I heard there were "dancing" horses. Me, being a horse fanatic, wanted to see what that was all about. We only stayed in for five minutes, not even. These beautiful horses where being poked and pulled to "Dance". Plus, half of them were foaming at the mouth cause there bits were too tight! And a different time, We went to a carnival at our park, and there were these two tigers on a chair. One of the males

  • @breyerlvrsunited got down and started humping the other tiger. So, the male was whipped ( and boy he sure didn't like that! ) and lead into a cage, and we never saw him again. And, The "Dancing" horses, this one lady put a tissue over here mouth and ran to the nearest trash can! I wanted to do the same! And I'm only ten!

  • @Persona100Duh But there are very few circuses around nowadays that are allowed to use animals, I know they still use dancing bears in India but people are trying to combat it.

  • @Persona100Duh

Zoos are not the conservation places they like to be seen as. Animals are often living in enclosures that do not fit their needs. Breeding is sometimes done careless (check for ice bear Lars, for example) and if cute baby animals grow to be adults they are often put down (even endangered animals like tigers) because they do not attract enough visitors anymore.

  • Aww Leo is sooo adorable I can just hug him tightly! :D His mother is pretty too ^^ these animals look awesome, I never watched this before :o

  • lion unuyasha!!

  • Ah I get it... this is like an anti zoo movie....

  • zoos are wrong.

  • @WOLFnTIGGER IMO not if they're preserving or rehabilitating a particular species. For example, several zoos are working to breed more and more condors and train many of them for re-release back into the wild, thus reviving them from the brink of extinction. The zoo in my city has a bunch of captive-born golden lion tamerons that they're training for future release as well.

Also IMO zoos aren't wrong if the animal kept in captivity is a rescue that can't survive in the wild on its own.

  • @WaterIily no I eman animals shouldn't be caged and humans shouldn't have guns.

  • @WOLFnTIGGER I agree with you for the most part, although there are some exceptions. But I agree with you 100% about guns.

  • @WOLFnTIGGER I agree with you on the guns part though. We shouldn't be able to hunt for food. We have cows, pigs, chickens and other meat. Why should we need to hunt? It's become a sport. Not something for survival. In the first world countries anyways. Africans have good reason to hunt.

  • @MsClickable i agree

  • @WOLFnTIGGER No. Zoo's aren't wrong. What makes you say they're wrong?

Animals are put in small cages because that is all the space they need. In the wild they have bigger spaces because they need to have: Shelter, water and food. In a zoo they can have all of that in a smaller area. Animals in the wild are constantly trying to survive and their lives are usually full of fear. In the zoo they are relaxed and don't have to worry about things like predators.

  • @WOLFnTIGGER So, say there was an animal who was born with a defect and it wouldn't be able to hunt/fend for itself in the wild, it should just be killed by a more powerful animal instead of being able to live in a zoo, where it can be taken care of and bring joy to children?

  • 6:36

    look familier?

  • last time i checked there r only 60 white lions in the wild ...did u know that a normal lion can have a white lion ..strange huh?!

  • @cheerypup It’s just like hair and eye color

    It's in your genes

My mom has blue eyes and my dad has brown and I got blue (that means I got both the recessive genes. If I got even one of the dominant genes, my eyes would be brown)

My mom has brown and curly frizzy hair and my dad has brown straight hair

I got blonde straight hair XD

They say things can skip generations and .....oh I’m not going to try and explain all of this XD

    Look it up :)

btw did you know blue eyes are a mutation?

  • @keithtreason whats a mutation?

  • @cheerypup something abnormal in your DNA and genes

  • @cheerypup cool

  • @keithtreason Yeah, strange how that works. Both my parents and all the generations behind them have green eyes, but yet for some unknown reason my sister was born with dark brown eyes.. no one knows where she got them from, but she inherited the gene from someone down the line, lol.

  • Nice, but it'll never be the same as the old Leo Dl

  • white lions does exists, i saw one in a NatGeo documental, its TRUE!!

  • @AIBliTz I think we're all aware of that by now :) they also exist in several zoos around the world. I think Sigfried and Roy have a little collection of their own too.

  • For some reason I love toto lol

  • I like Toto, lol. <3

  • I think I can see Amano's art style within the character's eyes.

  • @WaterIily Maybe Shinx's were made after Leo and just recoloured?

  • Leo is so cute!

  • Toto's not in Kansas or being a dog anymore.

  • Leo looks like a little Shinx. Or even Lionblaze when he was Lionkit. Except Leo has white fur, but Lionblaze is golden tabby.

  • @goldblaze93 Leo came first. I noticed that, I think Shinx was inspired by him.

And lionblaze? He`s a CAT, not a lion cub. =/

  • @shadecario22 I know that. The name just reminds me of a lion, that's all.

  • He's sooo cute

  • I don't know why,but...Leo looks exactly like my dog.

  • @busterbrown17 No, they're not albino. If they were albino, they'd have no black pigments in them whatsoever (meaning their ear tips, tails, etc) and have red eyes. Do some research on white lions and how they end up white.. definitely not albinoism.

  • @WaterIily

It's a genetic mutation that makes them white with black noses, eyes, ect. It can also be passed down to offspring making them white which if they were albino would not happen. This is also found in tigers, theres no such thing as a 'Snow Tiger', white tigers just the mutation too.

  • @TheForbidding Yes I know, I was telling busterbrown17 that they're NOT albino, and I sent him a lengthy PM explaining why.. that like you said, they're white as a result of the genetic mutation, same with white tigers. Strangely enough, he wrote me back and accused me of lying, insisting that Kimba is an albino, and swore at me and called me a bitch, wtf lol.

  • first of all, leo and kimba are the same lion. second, waterlilly is correct, white lions aren't albino. they're white because a mutated recessive gene that both the mother and father lions are carriers of. that's why Leo/Kimba, his father Panja, and his son Rune (along with many of his other ancestors who were also white lion rulers) are all white, because it's hereditary. that's how white tigers are born too, and they obviously aren't albino either, otherwise they wouldn't have stripes.

  • @SelphieTillmitt \\

wait...so what's the difference between a white and albino lion? Or is it that there's no such thing as an albino lion and just WHITE lions? Then how can other white animals be dubbed albino and not lions and tigers? Wait, since there are "albino" humans, that word doesn't even fit quality so they are called "white" humans. Holy shit, I'm white! Shouldn't my skin be burning in the sun like an "albino's????" But wait, if wild cats that are white aren't called albinos.

  • @Tikaany I'll send you a PM explaining it all, it's pretty lengthy lol.

  • @SelphieTillmitt

So wait, what's the difference between the word albino and the word white? Do only wild cats who are altered colored only under the label white and the word albino doesn't call for them? Wait then shouldn't ppl who are called "albino" be WHITE? Shit, I'm white! Why isn't my skin burning in the skin like a WHITE person should?!!! But GOD SelphieTillmitt and Waterlily, TELL ME what the fuck is the difference between white and albino??? Could the word albino just be a myth word

  • @Tikaany White lions and tigers just have white fur, albinos have no pigment in their fur or skin and have red eyes. That's the difference, you can get albino humans too, they have red eyes and are most commonly found in Africa.

  • kimba an albino white lion? wtf? busterbrown17, quit sleeping thru your science classes, lol

  • @PhoenixFireAsh he probably thinks it's albino from the red eyes

  • That tree the lion pride stays in looks like rafiki's tree... kind of. I don't wanna get in the way of people who are in the whole Dinsey vs. Tezuka thing.

  • Oh gosh, that ambassador from the UN was against the creation of Neo-Jungle from the start....now we know why. ;_;

  • omg, those first few minutes were made of pure AWESOME. Panja is so incredible in this version - and Toto is just the coolest villain!!

  • how cute! i normally don't like remakes, but it REALLY is adorable.
