Man ... she sounds awesome! Love that chopper sound. Looks great in the air too. I can't tell but it appears that only the skids are vibrating - maybe some cross supports or something might help - just guessing. I like the wide stance of those skids - are they custom ?
@FR4Pilot Thanks. If you like the way it sounds now you should hear it in idle up. Replaced the tail shaft and the vibs went away. The wide skids are off a trex 600,they help alot on a rough field. Thanks for watchin'
Hi, good to see you back, looks a nice bird just bought a copter x 500 myself but only flown it in the back yard so far, waiting for a wind less day LOL believe they're more or less the same beast!!

Hi know when you said " I don't want anither mishap", last Sunday i took to the field a new big gasoline to the first flight and with no reason after 10 seconds in the air just fail and CRASHHHHH!! ARGGHHH!. At this moment I just do not know what happened.
Hey great to see you back in the air! Nice heli...I had a similar problem with vibrations and found, that it was the main rotor axis. Even though it was new, it was a little bent. Try to roll it on a mirror or on a plain metal plate and check this out...might help...I´m waiting for my hk500gt hoopefully will be in the air within the next two weeks...take care and have fun with the new heli

wow that bird is very smooth! u no i tride to set my heli for 3d and whin i did that it messed up everything... now i cant get my gryo back were it was at... its use to hold very good in tell i changed my settings.. now my exi 450 is out of wack! whin i go to hover and give it some power it turns to the left. but whin just crusing around it does not hold and im just trying to keep it straigt. ive tryed all kinds of ajustments and still no luck... can you give me some advice???
@heliman36 hey,thanks for the comment I have the same problem on my 450 that crashed the same day my 500 went in. tried 2 gyros neither one will hold now,not sure why. if i figure it out i'll let you know.
Welcome back! With regards to the vibration, did you already check and adjust the blade tracking? Sometimes that's what causes the vibration. Happy flying!
@agdzine thanks for the comment. tracking seems really good i'm thinking the motor shaft bent when it went in,it's the only part left that isn't new. oh well,today is payday again :-) gotta stop ordering parts or my wife is going to take away my internet privledges HAHA =D
