anyone have an idea how to get simple directions in android google navigation? I just need turn left... rigt.. and not street names, i dont care about the street names, in most cases i have no idea on which street i actually am because there are no signs on the street...
@WindowsSoftwareDe Not possible AFAIK. But anyway, it's not really that much of a problem, is it? It might just take the system a little longer to say it, though. The street names might occasionally come in handy.
Sorry, I tried to get eSpeak to work, failed, and uninstalled it in frustration. I've settled for Google's TTS, even though they have bugs too. I'm annoyed that I select for the British English voice, and it still uses the stupid default American Robot voice. But, even that is better than eSpeak.
Good luck, please post back if you find a solution (try Google's forums).
Did you ever figure out what was causing this? Or what the problem was? I have the same thing on my Desire. The reason why I wanted espeak is because it supports Dutch, but like this it's useless...
