A childhood friend of mine had a toy very similar to this, except it was a van instead of a robot. Does anyone remember the name of it??? I can't remember.

i think i had that thing, don't remember the name; It had a microphone on it's roof. The only word is actually recognized is 'stop' You could just clap your hands to change directions, etc.

I had one of these, too - it was a poor man's answer to the remote controlled R2D2...I never did get the R2D2, but that same Christmas I got a C-3PO...model.

I had to glue it together and everything while reading comics at my Dad's work during Christmas Vacation...at least I got to sniff the glue ;)
