Stay in it mate, filming is a tough game, I admire your perserverance, but I would be careful of the home life. As always with these endeavours, they reach a low point where everything seems impossible before the massive crescendo to the finish. Can't say I know the whole story line of the film, but maybe your character makes a miraculous discovery of lather soap and discarded razors in the post-apocalyptic world? That'd be a boffo scene. Anyway, bests in the coming weeks.

I work everyday doing things from still image work to video editing, not for a job but, for reaching my own goals. I'm used to having my thoughts and concepts shot down and used against me. it really adds an overbearing weight to an already stressful struggle.

Why don't you take a few weeks or even a month off the project? If you're running low on motivation sometimes that's the best thing to do. Spend some more time with Gabi, get all those practical things sorted out and come back revitalized with new-found inspiration and motivation. Thats what I did on a recent project. I was afraid I'd never get back into the groove of things it if I stopped, but I was able to and once I did my excitement for the project had been rekindled. Middle bump is worst.

Not scripted. If it was a LG15 the updates would be regular and the hype carefully managed. I am however a documentary filmmaker so understand structure and narrative - hence the videos may come across well conceived.
