A lot of people like to pass the blame on to one person, such as the comments before this one.
In the end, if you don't do something to stop the persuader, you can expect an all out war. That makes you just as guilty for not standing up to it. You can't just pass the blame on to one person, for every participator in a war is guilty, be it the man pulling the trigger, the man crafting the weapon, or the man maintaining your vehicles. In war, everyone is guilty, and there is no other truth to it.
war does not have an ending.... it will rage on forever through anyone's lives.... weather they witness it then and there first hand or even heard of it through someone or the papers... so long as there is greed, lust, selfishness, hatred, desire.... you can count that a conflict or disagreement will always escalate to some kind of war.... if not a big one, one amongst one another until all is consumed...
if this theme would be used in a peace walker movie it would go like this in the begining of the song you see all of big boss men down on the ground dying
and that alot of them are down and then around 2:33 you see big boss standing up
with his patriot and some troopers stand up to and big boss runs at the enemy
(this would be around the chopper battle in the US base)

@GamePro24X Having armies are the main deterrents to war. In this case the best defence is a good offence. If everyone threw down their arms we'd be absolutely powerless against even one madman.

If we abolish all our armies then who is there to stop that happening? We'd just form a new army of our own and the process would repeat itself, we'd re-enter an arms race and eventually end up with nukes again. The cold war was the closest that we have come to world peace in the past 100 years.

A funny thought popped into my mind during Peace Walker: What if all Soldiers in the world used tranquilizers?I know, this way we'd always be in a constant battle, cuz there wouldn't be a reason beeing afraid of war anymore but it doesn't change anything now either.

It is a detestable thing, but no human can honestly say that they've never hated something or wanted to fight it before. The day that man is able to lose that craving and simply strive for the betterment of the human race and indeed the world as a whole is the day this changes. But until then... one person can only do so much.

You played "Old" Snake in MGS1, 2 (a little), 4, he's aviable in Portable OPS+, ...
And Big Boss ... he has no Story. He's "just" the father of Snake.
Snake ... he's a clone. His life is almost over, he looks like 70 and about, but is still fighting.
Big Boss is dead. Snake is on the way. So the (probably) last part (MGS Rising) is with Raiden.
From there ... they can call it Metal Gear Raiden or something, because Snake and Big Boss, they're gone.
