we're from the kansas city, missouri area and we love spending cooler summers on lake superior. my wife thinks we should retire to this part of minnesota or even further up the lake, but i don't think we could handle the winters up there. we get 15-20 inches of snow - maybe - as an average in wintertime. it looks like two harbors got that amount in just a few days. yikes! ya, you betcha!!
