Oh my god! genuinely gobsmacked!!!!!!!! why do people have to be such morons? leave Jason alone all he's doing is experimenting with different sounds just like plenty of other artists have done over the years! he's quite probably THE best song-writer around and crazy talented, the song still conveys the emotion, the feeling and the realness that is in every song he writes. regardless of whether its just jason and a guitar or 'overproduced' it still gets the message across & i personally LOVE it!
The second most humble thing, would have been to remove the whole scchpiel after it was over with as so not to look like you were showing off the fact that you think you were right. That I WILL say, was pretty pathetic. You want to make honest music? Take honest opinions and work with them, the opinions that will push you to change the most are the ones that bother you. No way has Jason sold out. He would never. He's been clear that he is (and always will be) in it for the music. Maybe it is a bit different than his usual style, but I trust that that's only to emphasize the emotion of his song. It's beautiful. He's beautiful. Inspiration.

This is the most produced song on the album probably. And it's still a very real representation of the emotion. I will always make acoustic music but for this record I had to push myself outside of that. And I recorded it this way on purpose. Each song has it's own tone. If you don't like it, there is so much more music to come. to me the songs are about the words and i don't want to get stuck putting them upon the same canvas over and over again. anyway, all love to you wonderful people!! @bacon904 he is still the same singer/ song writer he always was. He said himself he wanted to experiment more with this release, try out a more dance type approach. He can't keep releasing solely acoustic music every time it would get old and he needs to be allowed to grow as an artist. Besides if I were to put faith in the one artist who will never "sell out" it would be J.R any day.
@bacon904 by the way, you should listen to the album-preview on my channel... "Save My Heart" and "Sticks & Stones" are the ONLY dancy-songs on this record... Try "Infinity To One", "Alone" or "Truth"... these are really acoustic and catchy, too. :)
