I took me a while to figure out that you had to use the syringe. I was so proud of myself when I figured it out. I had never used the syringe beforehand, so I wasn't even sure if was a usable item.
How do you do this? Everytime I do this, vamp kicks me off. Is it that you have to do the CQC thing at a very very, VERY accirate instant between the moment he dies and the moment he recovers? I mean, do you have to use CQC exactly at 2.56 seconds after he gets up? I tried this a million times and it never works hahahahaha

Beat the Beats with non lethal weapons then grab the doll. the doll for screaming octopus is on a bed the one for raging raven is on the top floor in a corner. the one for crying wolf is right behind you when you battle for beuty form and mantis's one is at the door where you started. theres a frog soldier doll required as well. to get that When you fight with meryl only use the tranq gun or the Mosin Nagant. when your in the garage its beside a tire. beat the game and you will receive the gun
How come nobody on any of these MGS4 videos ever uses auto aim? I don't get it. With Vamp you don't need to go for a headshot so you could have just shot him as soon as he jumps down...
Auto Aim actually makes the game more difficult to play, since it never shoots weak points. It's easier to just shoot everyone in the head, then trying to auto aim everything.

Range doesn't matter at all when using the solar gun. And if you'd have knocked him down as soon as he jumped down you could have had time to run behind him when he gets up as you can't grab him befoere he does this. And if he got close he would have had a chance of damaging you which would have been dangerous if you were playing on extreme.

And the reason why she went back to Vamp's side is to retain her cover. Nobody knew she left the memory stick except Sunny.
As for why she was working for herself, is because of what The Patriots did to her adopted brother. She needed revenge for that. As for that, anyone not familiar with MG1-MGS1 should look that up on some wiki online. Then, go play MGS1, just because.
you must collect the frog and B&B statues. to get the frog statues when you met rat patrol 1 and they ambush you you must tranquilise all the frogs and not a single one. to get the B&B statues you must tranquilise there beast form and pick up the statue in the second fight with there beauty sides.
You have to collect all the dolls in the game. There are 5 dolls - The FROG doll and the Beauty and the Beasts CO. dolls (All of them have dolls). To get the FROG doll, I believe you have to use the Mark II rifle (or w/e it's called) or the Mosin-Nagant and take them out with Tranquillizing Shots during the battle with Rat Pt 01 in Act 1. To get Octo doll, look for it on one of the beds. Raven doll is on the top floor in a corner. Wolf doll is behind you. Mantis is where you entered room.

Vamp isn't a vampire lol he has enhanced nanomachines that makes his body heal faster and the only reason he can run up walls is because he has the same technology as those FROG soldiers and the only reason he likes drinking blood is because he had to drink it to survive or something then he got an addiction to it and the reason that they call him vamp is because he is bisexual lol

Not only is the solar gun not a special item. It's not even that great. Also vamp literally sucks no matter how you fight him. He is the only boss in the game that doesn't even get stronger by playing on harder difficulties. I just simply chose to save time and end his pathetic life quickly.
Its effective in some manners, but the reason it works this way against him is because its solar powered, and he is vamp, although I'm pretty sure he isn't a real vampire, but I think they wanted to add a little treat to the game to reference boktai and vampires being weak to sunlight.
I may be missing something here, that's how I beat him in solid normal. Can't seem to do it in big boss hard.

Nice that the Boktai gun is super effective against Vamp, considering what the game series was about.

Can anyone beat Vamp in under 15 seconds?

During my first playthrough I had to kill him 5 times before Otacon basically told me what to do D:
Anyway damn that gun....fudge! Is it that effective against everything in the game?

Its effective in some manners, but the reason it works this way against him is because its solar powered, and he is vamp, although I'm pretty sure he isn't a real vampire, but I think they wanted to add a little treat to the game to reference boktai and vampires being weak to sunlight.
