Way back when he started using backup dancers I said I found them distracting. Honestly I still do. They don't "enhance" or bring anything to the show, they're just sort of there. Adam is a show on his own, so I can't figure out why or how the superfluous dancing is beneficial. They're good. I'm (oddly enough) fond of the white male dancer (I usually find white men don't dance well, generally guys, just generally). But they could be gone and I'd never miss 'em. Maybe I'm missing something?
