  • Where did u get the bin for $35.00? Great video

  • @spafa9 This was a long time ago. I'm not quite sure how he got it so cheap.

  • @pleabargain I wish I could find one so cheap. They are so expensive now. :(

  • @spafa9 Worm boxes are super easy to make. We have four going right now. Get a couple of nested trays maybe 10cm deep. Make sure one tray has lots of holes for drainage. Put some damp newspaper, some old salad like veggies, some dirt and some red wigglers. It's super easy to get a worm box going... just do some reading etc. Like I said, we've got four worms boxes going. One has been going strong for 3 years now. Total cost? 20 USD.

  • @pleabargain I am going to give it a try.

  • no salad dressings either.

  • Where'd you get a bin for 35 dollars? All the ones I'm looking at online that look like yours cost 75 minmum.

  • @JTuesday777 This was a long time ago. I'm not quite sure how he got it so cheap.

  • Worms actually eat the bacteria that makes it smell

  • @dimension1NSL I have read that their is not a human pathogen that can survive a worm's digestive track. Say good bye to e-coli? I have not done any further research on the matter.

  • @best333WillC euros are bigger and there not red. Also if you mix them together you will get really good castings

  • I have euro's and red worms. IN separate bins, what is an easy way to tell a difference between them?

  • Wow, that kit up would be no use to me. My worms are far too fat to get through those little holes. Some of my worms are 18 inches long and as thick as a pencil.

They need a GIANT worm farm :)

  • when u were talking about "worm tea" you siad mix it with water and put it on your plants i was wondering if you have some kind of water: tea ratio and if you just spay it on your plants

  • @carsandjesse Experiment! See what works best for your plants.

  • where can i buy that bin at?

  • @ddaannm2 Myself, I use two very cheap plastic buckets, one nested in the other. The nested one has a bunch of holes drilled in it for water seepage. Easy. Cheap. $20 USD tops. 30 minutes of drilling if you are slow :) Done. Put some moist newspaper at the bottom, some dirt, some old food stuff, some more dirt and some worms. You'll have a worm box. Lots to read about worms and worm management online. Charles Darwin's last book was about worms. It's a good read.

  • you said put no dairy products in there but pancakes have milk in them

  • @beymaster20111 Yeah, but the milk has been cooked... I've put rinds of dead cheese in my worm box and there was no smell/pest problems.

  • Hey people. If you want worm do do, it can be purchased online. You can buy a 30 lb bag for like 30 bucks. commercially it is called "Wiggle Worm Soil Builder". One cup per plant is the general rule. A little goes a long ways. There is no waiting and the fertizer you need now is just in the bag. If you want a hobby then make a worm farm. If you want fertilizer, buy Wiggle Worm Soil Builder. My 2 cents.

  • This is awesome man good begginer worm farming video. I did a project on it for school and i have a worm bin and its going great!

  • cool video..

    have a blessed dat

  • If you rub the castings all over your face your skin will be as soft as a baby's belly. Check it out and please, please, please post a video of the whole process. Better hurry before I do it first.

  • Where did you get a worm bin for 25.00?

  • yep, everybody, take a look at my compost

  • the paper is a great ideia but you should avoid using coloured paper, inked paper, glossy paper, etc... c'os inks, toner and inkjet printings must have a lot of heavy metal and other toxic materials... you'll be contaminating your soil....

  • GREAT explanation of the worm farm bin. Loved it.

  • @pleabargain oh I bet.

  • 35$ for that bin. Thats sweet. the stuff on ebay is least $100.

Too bad their so expensive considering its plastic boxes.

  • You are right not to put meat in there because it could achract flys and good video(:

  • Dont use tomato or citrus fruits. worms dont like it and citrus rind leads to moulding.

  • i made a worm farm right before i looked this up but today i'm actually going to get worms, dirt and sawdust. I already have peat moss, leaves and food such as diced tomato and coffee grounds.

  • Hey guys what worms did yah put there??

  • He must have a pretty shaddy job if he turned to vermiculture to get rid of shredded documents.

  • I just use a couple of buckets top one with holes in it

  • Great vidio,tx. I got the same box and now i've got tips and about 2 hundread worms i found on the side of the road after it rained-i guess they came out to breathe

  • Can you please tell me (us) the maker of this worm farm and where I can get one?

  • hey uncle denny its francisco

  • what kind of bin is this?

  • 74$ on ebay

  • Where did you buy the bin for $30
