Does anyone know where I can find the performance that's supposed to happen after the video cuts? I remember seeing parts of it a while back and now it's eating me inside.
Why, why, why is it so hard to find a black man like this? Just listen to even how he talks, what he says, how thoughtful and humble he seems. Its getting harder to find everything good it seems.
I know "educated" black guys on campus but so many of them have huge egos, and look down on others. Then there are the hood boys. Well you know that story.
right around 5 min Dick says, "so you're gonna play for us, although i don't know how that'd be possible." right, because jimi hendrix was only the best guitar player of all time. dumbasses
This was done right after Jimi played the Woodstock Festival in August 1969. He may come off as high or nervous to some but in reality he was just really tired here. Jimi is naturally though a quiet talker!
I love him and Janis Joplin! Both are figures who in my opinion contributed more to the 60s in terms of music and future musicians than any artist out there! RIP both I will always love you and your music forever!
"I don't realy live on compliments, matter of fact they are distracting." REAL TALK
He doesn't seem high or stoned at all. If anything, he just seemed self deprecating and very uncomfortable doing interviews. Personally, I don't blame him, because I'm the very same damn way. Thank you @taequeen0611
Hahaha, Jimi knew the deal, and its funny, because people didn't understand what he was trying to say! I wish he was still alive though =( R.I.P. Jimi Hendrix - A legend !
Jimi Hendrix was one deep philosophical bruh!! He pretty much predicted how the music industry would be ran up this very day....& then he spoke on how there are so many people a sleep in the world.
The good die young. The more you think about it, the more real it seems

He was ahead of his time, he knew right from wrong. And he set the agenda straight amidst a period of fear of communism and economic paranoia.

Damn, i wanted to see him play too...

he was such a sympathic guy - the way he speaks is as open as the way he plays the guitar

It's hard to believe Jimi was as young as he was during this interview. Truly an old soul.

Jimi never forgot about the soul of music, despite commercial well-being, etc.
