Today's movies SUCK!! Slow motion, explosions and a ton of Special Effects. And that annoying choir. Man!..., enough already! Hollywood needs to stop making all these lousy so-called movies and donate their studios to the homeless!

This is a Hallmark movie which was made for TV so the effects are quite....uninspiring. But I do have respect for Jim Henson's Creature Shop because they made such memorable movies (to me) like The Dark Crystal and Mirrormask. They should have used the animatronic puppets that they are so famous for instead of CGI in this one.

You don't get it! I can't stand today's special effects, they're a copp out. Today's so called movies rely heavilly on those lousy effects. That's all it is today..., special effects! I haven't been to the theater in 25 years! I haven't watched TV going on 2 years because today's movies and made for TV movies SUCK!

I like the original , and I also like the remake as they both are good in there different ways . On the remake I also liked the idea that they included the island of lemnos - the islaned with all the amazon women . This island was included in the mythological tale of jason and the argonauts , but was not in the original film . But you also have the great scene with Talos in the original , which is not in the remake .
