I'm happy you're teaching lebanese dialect. I am learning standard arabic with LearnArabicWithMaha and lebanese dialect with you. I have a girl-friend who's from lebanon and she also helps me with both standard and lebanese. Great! It's good to learn standard cuz you get understood everywhere but it's also good to learn a dialect cuz when you are with friends and at non-formal places, they don't use standard, they use their dialect !
es selam 3alekom, hey, 3andi so2al, enta bet3ish bi l wilayat el mota7eda sa7? bas enta men wen, ya3ni, 3ailtak men wen? men el sa3udiye, lubnan, masr, etc.? hehe
@yass4ever Who are you to say his pronunciation is wrong?? I have a friend who's lebanese and his pronunciation is just like hers. He's teaching lebanese dialect and that is cool because it's hard to find videos like these on youtube, most of them teach standard and egyptian. There must be variety cuz there are different needs. If U want to learn standard arabic then go to Maha's channel or other one. There are lots of channels here teaching standard and don't come to criticize ppl who do sth.
because jews are faggots and should die so they will bomb the towers to die and cause other fat fucks more pain. not that anyone cares about the american pig. ALLAH
But I have a suggestion...write the words with english letters so people can learn the correct spelling as well as the pronunciation..that would be great. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!!! i have a small group of friends and we hook the computer to a large tv screen and study with your videos. We are doing pretty good and await your next series!!! Your parents should be proud of you!
cy retrace I mean stand off to the side so the camera and thus teh viewer can see what your hand is doing while seeing where it is going since it is already on the board.
Also for the vocabulary part if you could get a friend or friends to join you to have a conversation while you show what your talking about then translate afterwards. This is how teachers do it.
I really apreaciate the time you have taken to make these.
might I sugest you sit down and make a plan of what you intend to talk about before you make the video that way you can clearly go from one element to another without having to think about what comes next. This is called a lesson plan. I believe it would help create a sense of focus and make it easier for everyone. also if you get a dry erase board try writing everything ahead of time large enough so the camera can see both you and the board at the same time then retrace only the examples.
Thank you so much for these videos. They are really fantastic, and you are a great teacher. I think the whiteboard is a great idea because I would love to see the words written down to be able to see them as you are teaching them. Would love to see an arabic numbers and how to tell or ask the time, too.
Thanks so much, once again. I totally understand about not having much time to make so many videos but I hope you can keep going with them!! :)
i like this hole thing you got going on and do you think it would take a while to learn.
well im half arab half english soo im half cast and on my dads side thier all arabs cant understand a word soo noraml common fraises would be a good idea say when your around family and stuff.
i know so far " yala imshe" (go) "eye" (yes)
"anajanne" im hungry errrr "afta al bab" think thts open the door?osscoot osscootiee "shut up" "yala bye". sorry for righting too much cheers your neighbour.England
Thank you so much for these videos. I have been so frustrated with arabic for a long time and you have motivated me to learn. I hope you keep it up :)
Hi, if you have time, on your next video could you please explain how to tell the time in Arabic? I've been trying to study it, but it is confusing me.
Thank you. Your videos are really good. Keep it up.
1st, you are a really good teacher! I'm very happy to watch your vids... I'm having some problems with how to pronounce hamzah. I don't know how I'm supposed to say it, or use it when I'm writing. Again, thank you for your great vids.
Thank you for continuing with your videos! You are such a cool guy, soo polite! You've really helped me and motivated me into learning more Arabic! I'm going to send you a message, if that is okay, with a list of books that I find really good for learning Arabic - not that YOU need them, but if you ever want to recommend or anything.
Nader your vids are very helpful thankyou. Please try writing the words you say, so it helps us with connecting the letters of the arabic alphabet to make words.
hey, i think these vids r greats but can i suggest pointing the camera at just a white board while you use a stick or pen to point things out. Also could u do a seperate video on pronouncing things cos i find it sooo hard to pronounce some words like the "kh..." thanku :-))
thanks for the videos. i know u already said ur working on getting a whiteboard but it would help a lot to see the words written out. also when u say them slowly it helps a lot too. :]
egyptian mostly, because the widely influence of egyptian media and movies. When arabs from different regions meet they talk a mixture of egyptian arabic and the standard arabic (which is mostly used in written document, kinda equivalent to Shakespearean english)
Nader, you are teaching ME to speak Arabic!! I really do try to repeat after you, and I know that IF I REALLY TRY and try again, I will train my mouth and my brain to speak. However, I can not chew gum and walk at the same time! lol! :P (I am kinda dumb but... You're the best, my friend!)
I have picked up quite a bit of arabic by watching films like 'katkoot!' and following online scripts. The books for learning are terrible.
Your videos have helped me progress with my pronunciations, making it much easier to speak the words I hear and repeating them. I think maybe spending time on the next lesson in sentence arrangement. Like in english we need to say something with a noun, article and verb. I want shoes. the nouns and verbs arent important as much as the arrangement.
Nader, what a gentleman you are! You have inspired me to HOPE to visit Egypt, Iran (Farsi) and Turkey (or several countries in the Middle East.) Thank you for your excellent videos, my friend.
