@Nightmare1066 he didn't he dodged it as it was rolling using the suits speed, I thought the samething at first until it did the maximum speed with those silver balls going into the dudes body like in the beginning of the intro.

Usual console market owning us pc gamers. They've focused too much on multiplayer for crysis 2. Noone wants to play multiplayer against people who can absorb bullets with a suit- we'll stick to bf3 for that. As for single player goes, they ruined what could have been yet another breakthrough improvement on the original crysis. Oh yea and this intro shits on crysis 2 intro, if you disagree your kinda clueless. Peace.

@thebannist123 Crysis 2 is much better!!! Only kidding, the only thing I like better is when you can see the nanosuit do something in the intro, like when he activates cloak or armour. Other than that, the game is shit. They totally didn't care about PC gamers and it's damn sad. 1 to change weapons and 2 to change fire mode? Are they shitting me? This is absolutely ridiculous. Plus Crysis 2 doesn't even have the epic graphics like it should. A shit game for low console standards.

What were the original controls to change fire mode/switch weapons etc.?

@Manofaction0 1 for weapon number one and 2 for weapon number two 3 for weapon number three and so on. It's easy, you can directly pick the weapon you want. In Crysis 2 you have to press 1 a few times... Which is perfect in combat situation. I can't remember the fire mode though, must be X or something like that.

@MrMutobuMan Sorry to say, but the CryENGINE 3 (Crysis 2 engine) was built for consoles, which significantly reduced the quality of graphics when compared to the CryENGINE 2 (the Crysis engine).

It would be very interesting, however, to compare Crysis 2 in DirectX 11 (if a patch is released for it) against Crysis in DirectX 10 and see if the developers can optimise it for computers. If they did, Crysis 2 might stand a chance of outdoing Crysis.

@brisingrsword01 Crysis 2 can't be compared to Crysis 1. Crysis 2 doesn't ahve any open maps, crysis 1 was maps were 4 x 4 km on outdoors.

@Paumonsu I'm not contrasting the two games; I'm contrasting the engines they were built on. The engine itself is exclusive to the game it was used to build. But even if I were contrasting the two games, it would still be valid. I'm not talking about the maps they used, but the rendering, resolution, etc. I.e. the technologies.

Don't get me wrong, I love both games and believe that they're both excellent in their own rights. My point of argument is purely concerned with the technologies.

@MrMICHAELCABOOSE It's actually not that system hungry anymore - $300 - $400 could get you a comp capable of running it at high nowadays. Surprisingly it's still the best looking game out there.

@jackoneill45 I disagree. You still can't really run this game on all high and have a good experience. I have 6gb ram, i7 950, 580GTX and on all high I only get around 40 fps, which for me isn't really playable. I can play my console if I want shitty fps spikes :) It's still the benchmark game for any new gfx card released, but my god what a game on 16xQ AA. Fantastic, easily one of the best games ever made

@thebannist123 I have to agree to disagree, sir. I think it has a lot to do with how the engine was designed. As an example, I can not play games like CoD or Battlefield if i get anything below 60 fps - it feels horrible to me, while I've always had no trouble playing Crysis at 30 fps on my (now) old computer. I think it has a lot to do with most games being designed to run at a certain FPS, and Crysis 1 was designed to play smoothly at 30. Kinda like how older games work with low fps.
