Every time I seen open burning of slash piles, a very necessary task to keep forest fire tinder at a minimum, it keeps me from giving up on the Energy Bootlegger. 16 lbs or about 8 kilos of wood equals the btu, joule content of a gallon of gasoline.
@wiscokiddd I was actually thinking of building a sterling engine or something of the sorts, use all the slash and junk wood around to make free power
