  • this could'nt have been '90...but thanks for posting!

  • @TheWhatev33

    Typo, fixed!

  • Indeed. PATTY WROTE this for/about her grandmother Mary. It's lyrics all remind me of my very selfless wife named......Mary.

  • Yesterday, I knew what it was like... My son was killed a year ago. I spent Jesus' birthday without my child, too. Blessed Mary knew that same pain.

  • @lisbethmobile My condolences, lisbethmobile

  • This was a wonderful tour! And just listen to Patty's voice - wow! Who sounds like that LIVE????

  • Thank you so much for this. I adore this song! It's hard to find live performances of it.

  • @Yesica1993 You're very welcome ;)

  • 3 Girls and their Buddy - fabulous!

  • @norwaync The song is indeed Patty's - appearing on her 1998 album, "Flaming Red." The Joan Baez cover appears ten years later, on Joan's album, "Day After Tomorrow." Look it up, you say? Sure - check out the Wikipedia page for "Day After Tomorrow (album)."

And please - a little civility. Even if you'd been right, the song, its writer, its subject, and especially its audience - do not deserve your coarseness.

  • One of the greatest songs ever written. I hope she never let's any of those Nashville or 'American Idol' douche bags ever cover this gem.

  • @SkeeterNYC I vote "Top of the World"

This is a great one, though.

  • You're welcome!

  • Sweet.

    Thanks for posting...
