  • which one would you get, the losi micro crawler, or an axial scx10 trail honcho?

  • should i get this or the micro t

  • Would these work with the MINI crawler

  • wht is the grey part of the track made of

  • is that humming the song or the slow speed of the motor?

  • well a realy micro crawler is it not i saw in the scale 1: 87

  • Can't believe how stiff it was without the mods. Proof that some manufacturers are uninterested or incapable of making kits that perform well. How difficult would it have been for them to drive the final prototypes and soften the spring rates before full scale production began? Oops, I'm ranting again.

  • @MrDavidfuchser Don't worry, it really is ridiculous that the springs were so stiff. I got sick of them within a minute, so I pulled them off and started running a droop setup.

  • i want it!!

  • how do you make droop?

  • @elbergron You remove the springs, or if you want to keep them, shorten or weaken them.

  • needs more travel but over all really cool... is it water resistant?

  • @dirtshower250 Nope, but it wouldn't be hard to make it water resistant.

  • Great video with some great low buck mod tips. Definately going to get one of these!!

  • the tires seem a bit stiff, try taking the foams (if it has them) and trim them into a star shape)

if it doesnt have foams then you'll have to shop for tires... which could ruin the point of your low cost mods

  • what type of motor are you running. because my 7.4v lipo battery burned up the stock motor

  • @dath1996 Weird...We were running the stock motor and didn't have any issues.

  • @AtomicMods if i was to buy another motor for it what motor should i get?

  • @dath1996 I would just replace the stock motor. If you converted to brushless you would probably destroy the drive train. You could put in a mod motor, but then you couldn't run the Lipo.

  • @AtomicMods okay. Thanks you for your help and your time.

  • i removed the rear springs on mine, cut 3 loops out of the front and put bb's in the front wheels, world of a difference, look up Losi micro crawler Ford body

  • I have a losi micro crawler, i need to know what weights to use and how much weight i should use. I have already put the battery on the front servo so what else can i do to make it crawl better? Thanks

  • @KrAzEyFaRt ... Defiantly do the droop mod on the shocks. The weights we used were the regular stick on weights you would use for a full sized crawler, we just cut them to fit. I believe we did one full wrap per wheel.

  • @KrAzEyFaRt buy another battery and watch the magic

  • do i need other parts if i want to change the stock battery with lipo one? is the esc will be fine? thx

  • Bravo ! Cool trick and insane thinking ! :)

  • try to put weight from top to bottom of the servo

  • Did this and its way better and very simple. It's freaking awsome

  • would you recommend one of these, i have a Exceed Mad Crawler 16 as of now, this looks like a fun little toy.

  • would you recommend one of these, i have a Exceed Mad Crawler 16 as of now, this looks like a fun little toy.

  • pls help mine turns horribly but if i turn up the steering thing the wheels rub the suspention links when the cars suspension flexes

  • i want to put a highly detaled 1 24 scale model body on a losi fram what do you think any hints im not up on the rc thing but built some very nice models im thinking a truck body with the fram and drive train spark plug wires on the motor but will the losi stuff get in the way abd would it look stupid?????? i guess in the long run its a way to kill a long alerta winter

  • does this work with dsm or dsm2? and if it does would it work with a dx7 in helicopter mode for reverse?

  • thats a bad ass little crawler!!

  • hey dude i would highlet recomend a team losi mini t

  • how big is this crawler?

  • @ClassA4 a micro crawler

  • @ClassA4 depending on the size of you hand it is probably the size of your hand

  • @alextroch Thanks

  • dosnt flex very well wow

  • Wow. That suspention is stiff.

  • so all you did was take out the springs and the suspension was that much better

  • can i bind my dx6i to this?

  • You can put some weight inside the front rims !! , that works too damn wel on my micro crawler instead of putting weights on top of the servo ^-^

    Have a nice day

  • Great idea removing the springs, makes a huge difference in actually performing like a crawler should!

  • Is this (or any micro Losi) good for a beginner who dos'nt want to spend more than $150??

  • how long i can make the micro crawler go with tne NiMh?

  • put a brushless sytem in it and floor it around a track even though its not designed for that

  • How are you! I'm trading a camera ipod for a good condition micro crawler wish It looks like that would be a nice trade.

  • what are the tan plastic things called

  • i hate howthe bnd is so ugly compared to the rtr,

  • mine is almost exact i have the weights in the front but not back i kept the battery where its at added an alluminum skid plate aluminum servo mounts and aluminum rear suspension mount where u hvae the battery at

  • im quite new to the crawlers. what is the droop suspension? it looks like you just took off the springs, but idk. whats the purpose of it?

  • how is this crawler for durability?

  • im on the lookout for a jeep cherokee body for my losi micro crawler if found i will pay 20.00$ for the body if there isnt a cherokee body than ill also take a jeep wrangler body for 15.00$ if so. ps ill take any nice micro crawler bodies for 20.00$ thanks let me know if you have one at airdogsteadman@yahoo.com

  • I removed my springs, bought the 220mah losi NM battery and double sided taped it on top the servo. Its EASILY 5X more capable than stock, and the 220mah battery lasts a LONG time. I havent tried the lipo, but honestly this should last longer, and I dont feel like I need the extra power from the 7.4v

  • you guys should flip the on of f switch over so you dont have to worry about tearing off a motor wire

  • Could a micro High Roller wall charger charge this battery?

  • i was wondering how you mont the batery in a different lokation i mean does it just hang there or stay in place whatever

  • arnt these worm gears? :D

  • the droop setup looks seems to be a lot better

  • its got really stiff shocks

  • How long does it take to charge and what is the average run time?

  • freaky this car is so small

  • Do these break easily? i mean the electronics with maybe a lipo. And i was wondering about the mods that can fix the tippyness, what are some? i know that putting leat in tires and battery on axle, and cutting foam, but what are others? and what is droop?

  • how long does the battery last?

  • what did you make the rocks out of.

  • @borntobakslide i may be wrong but probably paper mashe

    How do u rate it?

  • tht thing was sweet when you took the springs out at first i thought it was kinda gay, lol i want one

  • the problem was i had a bad controller i got a new one and everything is good

  • First thanks for keeping up with HD video. Second - its amazing how a couple of simple tweaks make such a huge difference, good work.

  • Would you recommend it to me?

  • 7.4 V x 180 mAh?

    My battery pack is 4.8 V x 150 mAh!

Is your engine a stock engine?

Where can i buy your battery pack?

  • looks like its a bit stiff!!!

put about 3 oz of BB's in the front tires, an about 4oz BB's in the back tires

  • Would anyone recomend buying one of these? Ive been thinking on buying one.

  • ugh k i just bought a rtr one an the only way it works is if i do the whole bnd thing, and even than it sometimes wont even pick up a signal and move plz plz plz help

  • Sounds like you need to call losi on that one.

  • hahaha i went down to my local hobby store and it turns out i had a bad controller, i got a new one and it's all good now

  • @AtomicMods would i need to change the pinion gear to put in a lipo

  • @oxymoron55051 saaaaaame, how did it work out for u?

  • @rc18trocks ok now i just have a problem with the charger and te steering lol

  • @oxymoron55051 lol, whats up with these things

  • @rc18trocks i dont know i mean these things crawl great but the durability i dont think is there

  • @oxymoron55051 i know what u mean, there r so many problems you think the would fix :9 tisk tisk, ill sub to you!

  • @rc18trocks ok i'll sub to you back

  • You gotta think like a business man and not a hobbyist. If it's pimped out right out of the box you won't sell any hop up parts! - Jay

  • you guys are lucky you get to play with thoughes thing all day long

  • @td6064 Keep Waiting!

  • I think you need to return your bedsit, above your comic shop in Springfield!......put your hand down the back of your sofa-bed!.......and see if you can find yourself a.....LIFE!!!......

  • @scottiebeast2 What is a bedsit??? But ya that dude needs to chill out on the answer to his question

  • Please address all further communication to Master S. Griffin......QUAHOG.....U.S.A.....

  • Ya, cause I'm sure you'll find a life somewhere behind your sofa-bed... That's where your still looking isn't it?

  • just anwser my question already

  • so iv waited for what about three days now and no one has anwsner yet so could any one help me please

  • for how long

  • I had no idea anyone could be so technical about RC's ._.

    Fun to watch though ^-^

  • hey um could you anwser my question

  • @td6064 Keep waiting there bud!!

  • ya so that motor is in my 65 mustang and it still whips the rear end around and goes out of control i tried to figur it out but im not smart enough to figur it out thats why i ask the masters like you

  • What motor are you talking about?

  • hey were did you go

  • oh no its not in one of thoughs its in my 65 mustang

  • i have a question ok i just got a new motor (PN racing PNWC offical 70 turns stock) i put it in and it whips the rear end around and then spins out of control how do i fixs this?

  • That is not a good motor for the micro crawler...Too fast.

  • @AtomicMods no the motor is in my 65 mustang

  • ok i have

  • lmfao, for some reason watching

a helpless rc struggle through brutal

terrain /w elevator music just cracked me up.

  • hey, i could almost swear that @ about 1:42, i saw a HUMAN HAND reach in!! scary.

  • 0000

  • Can you purchase this truck?

  • ya local hobby store i got one

  • Where can you get a set of those foam rocks at?

  • Its pretty sure footed. Some of the foam rocks are rather steep. I like it.

  • do you do glow fuel vehicles too?

  • Only electric...- Jay

  • good mod, a street twist on a nice ride. though I can see what the stock model meant to benefir from the springs, that being suspention to absorb any damage say if someone was to frequently use it for jumps instead of crawling.

Overall a cool vid, I'm a fan of customized rides, and this little trick is an interesting change to the bulkiness of some things.

translation: nice toy mod, I like where you're going with it.

  • put battery on front and it will have more weight for crawl

  • that's cool little crawler

  • wow :)

  • haha that is awesome. great job and cool video. 5 stars!

  • It's just great

  • i'm curious about the rocks... did you make the rock? is it prefab? what material is it made of? i looks real...

  • Those are foam rocks produced by RCP tracks. - Jay

  • Dang it works a whole lot better without the springs

  • best movie with small crawler ;) rc rules :) take care men ;)

  • Look fun haha.

  • awesome

  • LOL cool track!

  • Cool little crawler! Normally i try to loose as many weight as possible on my buggies, but i guess it doesn't help on crawlers.

  • are there any other mods tO MAKE?

  • so you just took off the springs

  • Awesome little vid on a cool little rc crawer.

What do u recommend to extend battery life?what options are out there for battery hop ups?

    Thanks!!

  • droop is a good mod, but throw some rubber bands on it to keep the body roll down, I'll be posting a vid soon.

  • Whats the size of the motor?

  • that's kinda cool but i think its to small to just go out side and drive it around. beater for like small tracks. ill stick with my Axial Scorpion and my Losi mini

  • Why put the battery on the back and not the front? It seems putting it on the front would make it easier to climb over tall stuff. what are the advantages of having it on the back? thanks

  • we did it to even out the weight ratio. You don't want to have all your weight on the front axle. Plus installing it on the rear axle sets it a little lower (CG) than it would be on top of the servo - Jay

  • i cant wait im geting one for x-mass

  • im gettin one

  • Could you add lead shot inside the tires? It seems like it would provide lower center of gravity than the stick on lead.

  • Never Thought Of That. That's A Sick Idea

  • Try Running Shorter Springs? It Would Help Rebound The Crawler Back A Little Quicker When Leaning A Lot. Or Just Very Soft Springs?

  • no springs worked NICE

  • How's the torque twist on that little beasty?

It does have worm-gear but on something that light and running droop, I have to say there must be some bad twisting

  • It gets a little twisty now and then, but not as bad as you would think. I'm gonna put some kind of friction grease or something in the shocks...Should help a little. - Jay

  • Thanks for the quick reply Jay! Do you guys sell 1/4 oz. self stick weights? The smallest ones I can find are 3 oz. each and the whole truck only weighs like 6.63 oz. Thanks

  • Hey AtomicMods were those 3 oz. weights you put on top of the servo? You should post a video of the crawler after applying the weights. One other thing, you had the battery on the rear axle perch during your first run so we couldn't really see what it ran like with the battery in the stock position. Did it make a difference??

Thanks, I am thinking of getting one.

  • The weights are 1/4 oz each. Moving the battery did help...Anything you can do to lower the center of gravity is a good thing. - Jay

  • take the springs out for better handling and stuff it makes it better trust me?

and is that stuff that looks like rock foam

  • Great vid atomic mods!

  • Well thank you very much! - Jay

  • how much was it

  • The RTR is $149.99 and the BND is $119.99. We have both in stock! Check the link. - Jay

  • hey on the shocks in sted of springs coulde ut u do oil fild with hevy oil so its not stif but more flex bc i think with no shocks on it like u have it its harder for the motor bc their is like no thing to help it tell me if im rong lolo but i hevent tryed that theroy ha ... but yea any who atomic mods hireing lol i no how to bild pro reddy bords and do instals on minis and micros and im verry good and fast

  • @reizp i didn't understand a thing you said

  • ok insted of useing the hole shock use a oil filled shock .. and take the spring out and use a hevy oil in place of the loos of the spring .. but ull still have the flexxx ok

  • @reizp larn 2 speeel

  • i think you need to buddy

  • Its called sarcasm you fucking retard (if you even know what sarcasm is). Everyone of your posts to this video has spelling mistakes. "insted" is spelt (instead), "useing" is spelt (using).

  • who cares .. u need to do something better with ur time than be a lil punk with ppl on youtube so just go jack off ur mother and be happy

  • the only thing that gets jacked off is me, by your whore cunt cock sucking piece of shit mother. Go suck your faggot molesting father off you homo.

  • pretty good comeback from a adoped fag .. u must have felt bad when ur dad jk died u gay ass

  • i did the same thing i put a rock track int he middle of another track

  • Funny toy

  • from 3:10 on that thing is pretty capable.

  • It looks fun. I guess most of the fun comes from building the track around your house and then seeing if it can make it. This is pretty much what we do with the Micro-t (although it would involve more jumps and speed).

It's a shame it couldn't be made RTR for under $100 though.

That no-spring mod seems to make it behave much closer to larger models. I would have never thought about doing that. Nice work!

  • @thingswelike

its because it says losi on it. ;)

  • you can enjoy it because its more realistic than you hitting it with your micro t at 20mph.

  • i cut my springs and put my rx/esc on my rear axel and 300mah on the front. crawls great

  • it made me laugh

  • hahahahahaha

  • SUPER !

  • wat is the point of this is way to small it has no flex

  • its got all the flex it needs, anymore and the chassie would go all floppy
