yes it was Oct 21, 1996..I was there at the game as a 10 year old...sachin scored 88 in that game while chasing and azhar's dismissal caused some crowed trouble and play was briefly held up...it looked like a losing cause when kumble & srinath put on an unbeaten partnership for the 8th wicket...
