It was like this at the beginning of the war. We did experience this for a brevity. For all of my brothers (Soldiers) in Arms who have continued the hard fight. I salute you.
And taping or filming a fallen comrade is forbidden.
I've been to 19 of them 19 of my buddies was KIA during our deployment in Afghanistan. Like Animal Said it hurts me to see my fallen comrades will never see the thank you.

There is a missing part to this beautiful film. The cofins (an average of 2 to 3 each day) come trough gate 5, where there are filming restrictions. Nobody claps over there.
It's a nice commercial, but it doesn't happen in real life. I've been in many airports while in uniform, maybe like three people have come up to me quietly. But even a few are really appreciated.
We got exactly that reception in every American airport we stopprd in and when we got to our home station a few months ago. I'll never forget the feeling, it was amazing. I only wish my fallen Brothers could have seen it. Thank you America!
Thank you you my friend. For putting your life on the line, and putting your Country first before family. We/I support you and this welcome home is very awsome and should be done more often in appreciate of what you do for us and the US. God Bless you and your fallen friends. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you.
What a bunch of bullshit that was. I bounced in out of airports for 9 years before after deployments and no ever gave us second look. No wonder I don't drink Buttwiper.
Do not hate them, if it was not for the volunteers of the armed forces you would be drafted for two years like the korea and german armies. So think about what they do before for you who has not servered and will not serve because of them.
Yes they do, my stepdad has come On civillian flights everytime, what they do is they put them on military flights from the war zone to usuall Germany, and from Germany they take civillian flights to various destinations.
OMG, i love that video. I am so proud of all the US soldiers! The american military is the best of our world. I hope that i can live sometimes in the states, i love your country and i wanna become a part of it. God bless all the soldiers especially my honey the BEST US ARMY SOLDIER from the world, who is right now fighting for our freedom in iraq!!! BE SAFE!!!!!!

The only place that I know that actually clap for Soldiers returning from deployment is Altanta Airport. It happen but mostly in southern states.

This has happened, but not as often as it should. We also needed it for the soldiers coming home 30 years ago. Hate the policy, love the soldiers.
