@lorin1996 MAV has no ammo. You can stop with MAV or destroy radios, other MAVs or motion sensor. When you look at device, you get lock on, then destroy it.

I'm really good at getting road kills with the MAV, but my friends call it cheap. It really is harder than it looks at least until you know the trick to it.
you can roadkill on the 360. although its hard. shame they fixed c4 bombing. that was the pinnacle of the beta for me and my friends.
road killing requires you to be going full speed and even more by lowering your altitude. the angular velocity is barely enough to damage them. depending on where you land u can get hit marks or kills.
@GrenadeCatcher Yes you can. I've done it a few times. It's not easy but it can be done. It's really a pain in the ass but well worth it. You have to line the target up as you're flying the MAV and hit anywhere between the upper torso and head.
@iiFight it lasts until it gets shot down, I used it an entire rush game as attackers and got 16 surveillance ribbons lol. pretty sure it can be reloaded with an ammo pack too so if it gets destroyed you can just get another without having to die
Ugh, it's so annoying when people do this sort of thing. So far, I've never seen it used for actual recon; it only ever leads to drawn-out, dull peek-a-boo with an entire team of snipers on the same building, or one guy who does nothing but try to roadkill people with that thing, and usually failing at it, too.
Still, this is a kinda neat montage. I hate what you're doing in it, but you present it nicely.
@somethingrather42 I try using it more and more. and for the intended purposes. Though even if I spend a entire match spotting like mad, I still would only get like around 25%-50% of the score I would usually get. Granted it helps the team, but just like the soflam, the incentive for recon to use that over say the t-ugs and do spots/medium range sniping is not a whole lot....
I miss the grapling hook and the zipline from bf2 special forces. Bf3 is so shallow compared to bf2

you can roadkill on the 360. although its hard. shame they fixed c4 bombing. that was the pinnacle of the beta for me and my friends.
road killing requires you to be going full speed and even more by lowering your altitude. the angular velocity is barely enough to damage them. depending on where you land u can get hit marks or kills.

@GrenadeCatcher Yes you can. I've done it a few times. It's not easy but it can be done. It's really a pain in the ass but well worth it. You have to line the target up as you're flying the MAV and hit anywhere between the upper torso and head.

@iiFight it lasts until it gets shot down, I used it an entire rush game as attackers and got 16 surveillance ribbons lol. pretty sure it can be reloaded with an ammo pack too so if it gets destroyed you can just get another without having to die

Ugh, it's so annoying when people do this sort of thing. So far, I've never seen it used for actual recon; it only ever leads to drawn-out, dull peek-a-boo with an entire team of snipers on the same building, or one guy who does nothing but try to roadkill people with that thing, and usually failing at it, too.
Still, this is a kinda neat montage. I hate what you're doing in it, but you present it nicely.

Though even if I spend a entire match spotting like mad, I still would only get like around 25%-50% of the score I would usually get. Granted it helps the team, but just like the soflam, the incentive for recon to use that over say the t-ugs and do spots/medium range sniping is not a whole lot....
