How hard is it to recognize an absentee parent? If you had a baby with someone, are you even able to tell if he cares? I took care of my children. For them, I installed bulletproof glass, latched windows, and a strong front door. I watched them every time they were out. Does any black do this? Here is where you are wrong. Some black people watch their children--some just can't. working 2 low wage jobs or jobs that work long hours--to make maybe just rent and a day or two groceries. Where's the bulletproof glass money? Where's the daycare money? It's not cut and dry. There are some that are really doing the best with what they have. Within that 80%, I'm sure there is a legit reason and it's not the usual--drugs, alcohol, or prostitution.
