It's a X5L but which gen is it? Because I want exactly this one with the flashlight under the laser and the laser in the middle but all I find is the smaller model with the laser at the right of the flashlight?
i thought about making my on from a chunk of aluminum and an off the shelf laser, this unit is beyond good, but priced out there. most likely to keep this tech in government arsenals and not in the 2nd amendments enthusiast hands
I appreciate the comments. I have one and love it. It is a great training aide. A laser enables you to really concentration on having a steady hand. I find it extremely difficult to keep the laser on a 3 inch target at 15 yards. If you bought one you would have trouble putting it down.
Lastly, do not be so jump-the-gun imbecilic as to immediately and categorically impugn that I am lying, for I am not. I am just speaking in an intelligent but dissenting fashion, and that appears to frighten you. Too bad, so sad.
Your authoritarian command tone questioning style is infantile and wearisome, and laughably unimpressive. So with that cognitized, this conversation is now concluded.
Additionally, Aimpoints and Eotechs are fine optics (I own an XPS2-2 and have owned an Aimpoint also) - they are fine quality optics, and they are overpriced too.
And my point of comparing the cheap eBay pen lasers with the Viridian (and the Crimson Trace also, for that matter) is to make pellucid that the Viridian SHOULD have a daylight visible beam, not just a small targeting dot, so that the entire beam can be used for sighting, and not just the tiny tip end of it).
I have a Viridian Glock and can easily see the green during the day. If you watch the Viridian Video shot in the woods you will see the laser work during the day. I have sold many of these laser and no one has complained. Every customer has been happy with the performance. I will post a day video of the Glock so you can see it in action.
Why are the $35 5mW green laser pens sold on eBay daylight visible (with a beam visible at night for 5+ miles) when the Viridian, which costs $250+ NOT daylight visible?
I can build the electronics for this no problem, The housing is beyond me. =[

The Gen 2 has a pressure switch version without buttons. The RS version.

This is EXACTLY what I want for my 24/7 Pro .45!
But, is there a newer model than the X5L? And can this even mount to the 24/7's picatinny rail (MIL-STG 1913)?

i have a Springfield's XDM 9mm /3.8 barrel, i wonder if a laser/flashlight combo would work on this gun system.

But the beam itself isn't daylight visible.

Looks like a ripoff to me.
